The US Army didn't participate in the Western Front until October 1917 when they fired their first shell at the German lines. The 4 American divisions involved did very little in those battles. It wouldn't be until May 1918 that the US would take on its actual first offensive. During the next 5 and a half months the US would sustain 254,000 casualties (dead and wounded). If we extrapolate that out to the entire war thats 2.2 million, about the same as the UK.
That's despite being able to learn from their Allies; the UK and France.
But that's unfair to the US as well. Starting in May of 1918 it played a key role; perpetual offense. American troops were well trained and poorly led. They made the same disastrous mistakes that the other forces did, but their learning curve was steeper.
i hope its right ;)
Answer:
The United States responded to the Berlin Blockade by giving air supply of food, medicines and other necessities to the residents of West Berlin for almost a year.
Explanation:
The Berlin Blockade was the refusal of the German government to allow any entry of people into West Berlin. This was done in an effort to curb the power of the Western Allies in some sectors of Berlin. This was a result of the British and American government's refusal to allow more voice to Russia on the issue of Germany's economic future. The Soviets blocked any form of transportation, be it railways, roadways, or even the canals, into West Berlin.
With the blockade of any transportation declared on June 24, 1948, the United States decided to respond to this move by arranging its own transportation. The Berlin Airlift began just two days after the declaration of the blockade when the Truman administration began the supply of food, water, and medicines by air support to the areas of West Berlin. This was how the United States responded to the blockade move of the Soviet Union. The airlift continued for almost a whole year, with the US supplying the necessities to more than 2 million people of West Berlin.
In response to the Soviet blockade of West Berlin in 1948, the United States initiated the Berlin Airlift (Operation Vittles), where they, along with Britain, supplied the city via air transport for 15 months, successfully countering the blockade and maintaining the city's survival.
The United States reacted to the Soviet blockade of West Berlin in 1948 by initiating the Berlin Airlift. The blockade was an attempt by the Soviet Union to reassert control over the entire city of Berlin by cutting off all land and water routes to West Berlin. The Berlin Airlift, officially known as Operation Vittles, was a massive operation which saw American and British planes delivering food, fuel, and other necessary supplies to the 2 million West Berliners for about 15 months, essentially maintaining the city by air. This incredible display of tenacity and endurance on the part of the Allies effectively countered the Soviet Blockade.

B. The issuance of the Bonus Bill restricted economic flow through paying out bonds to World War I veterans.
C. The raising of tariffs in different countries throughout the world led to a restriction of trade.
D. Mexican Repatriation provided less jobs to Americans through exporting Mexican immigrants.
Answer:
The correct answer is C. The economic developments that contributed to the Great Depression were the raising of tariffs in different countries throughout the world, that led to a restriction of trade.
Explanation:
In 1925, the world economy was fairly balanced: production had returned to the level that existed before World War I, the price of raw materials seemed stabilized and countries that were going through a period of high conjuncture were numerous. However, it was not a return to the Belle Epoque. A number of traditional equilibria were altered: production and welfare progressed dramatically in some parts (United States, Japan), while in others (particularly in the United Kingdom), pre-war prosperity was lost, The population was overwhelmed by unemployment and endemic crises.
At the same time, Americans complicated the position of Europeans in a unique way. The international debt could only be paid with gold or merchandise, and the Americans stopped their imports from Europe with the new customs duties, increasingly higher, while using their superiority to impose their exports to Europe.
This caused international trade to slow down, causing a decrease in the income of each country, and therefore, a decrease in the income of the different companies. As a result, this led to a fall in the stock values of these companies, which led to the stock market crash in 1929.
The answer is "C" the raising of tariffs in different countries throughout the world led to a restriction of trade.

Answer:
The answer is D:
The right painting only
Explanation:
In parallel with the classical renaissance, an artistic movement developed consciously from the model of Classical Antiquity in Rome between 1520 and mid-1610, the Mannerism. An evident trend towards exaggerated stylization and a whim in the details begins to be this art style trademark, thus extrapolating the rigid lines of the classic canons.

Hence there was a conflict between his mind and the mind possessed by his hand.
The correct answer is C) internal conflict: Man versus self
Explanation:
In an internal conflict or man versus self, the main conflict or problematic situation emerges as one of the characters experiences a struggle against own values, ideas, thoughts, actions, etc. This means the conflict is within the character rather than in an external factor. This conflict can be seen in the passage presented as the narrator explains"His hand had done it all his hand with s brain of its own with a conscience and a curiosity" that shows the character Montage is struggling against himself as he believes his hand is an independent entity he cannot control.
