The largest diversity of plants and animals on the planet is found in one terrestrial biome. It is a true statement.
Large-scale habitats known as biomes can be identified by their distinctive temperature ranges and precipitation rates. The kinds of vegetation and animal life that can exist in those locations are influenced by these two factors. The same biome can exist in physically separate regions with similar climates because each biome is characterized by climate.
There are eight main terrestrial biomes: temperate grasslands, temperate forests, boreal forests, Arctic tundra, and tropical rainforests, savannas, subtropical deserts, and chaparral.
All this terrestrial biomes has large diversity of plants and animals on the planet .

Answer: reflection
Explanation:
SONAR - Sound Navigation and Ranging
It works on the principle of Echo i.e. the reflection of sound. Sound waves are sent out which get bounced off a nearby object. The reflected sound waves is detected and distance to the object is estimated. Sonar is used to detect, navigate or communicate objects underwater. Thus, a fishing boat uses sonar to locate the fish. It is employing reflection.

1.) How will the ice water mix with the salty water? Write your hypothesis below.
(I can't add the picture of the chart so bear with me)
Solution - Hypothesis Describing Mixing - Hypothesis Describing Temperature
(Will the top be warmer, cooler, or the same as the bottom?)
Solution 1

4.) What does your experiment suggest about what happens when icebergs melt into the ocean? Based on your data, do you think the sea-surface temperatures are warmer or cooler due to the melting water? Make sure you explain how your experiment helps you answer this question.
I really need help with this as soon as possible, if you do not know the answer to this do not answer please, let me repeat that, PLEASE DON'T ANSWER IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE ANSWER TO ALL THE QUESTIONS, also if your a k12 student, friend me so we can help each other with quizzes and stuff, and if you are a k12 student and you answer this, please don't put your exact answers on this, make it different from yours, I don't want a heart-attack email from my teacher
The way ice water mix with the salty water is that when a person adds salty water to ice, the salt will be the first thing to dissolves in the layer of liquid water that is seen on the surface.
By reducing the freezing point below the ices temperature, when the Ice is said to be in contact with salty water, it tends to melts, forming more liquid water, that will then dissolves more salt, causing a lot of ice to melt, and the process still goes on.

Answer:
(9/35) = 0.257
Explanation:
Box contains 9 new light bulbs and 6 used light bulbs, total number of bulbs = 15.
Probability of selecting two bulbs; a new light bulb and then, a used light bulb in that order = [(probability of selecting a new bulb) × (probability of selecting a used bulb from the rest)] = [(9/15) × (6/14)] = (9/35) = 0.257
The probability that Meredith will select a new bulb and then a used bulb in sequential order without replacement is around 26%.
The question asks about the probability of selecting a new light bulb and then a used light bulb from a box containing 9 new light bulbs and 6 used light bulbs. Probability events like these are solved using multiplication rules of probability that each event is independent.
First, the probability of picking a new bulb is 9/15 (total bulbs are 15). If you pick one out, you don't replace it, so there are only 14 bulbs left. Thus, the probability of picking a used bulb now is 6/14. Hence the probability of both events happening in order is the multiplication of both, i.e., (9/15)*(6/14) = 54/210 = 0.257 or around 26%.
