What can readers conclude about the relationship that exists between Calvin and Hobbes? Explain.

Answers

Answer:

Both Calvin and Hobbes in this comic are living intensely, however it suggests that the narrative values about their life are subjective. Calvin prefers the intensity and actually would like more in his life while Hobbes’s idea of intensity has reached a maximum and he would prefer to tone it down.

Explanation:

Read the excerpt from The Riddle of the Rosetta Stone by James Cross Giblin. As he thought about the hieroglyphs in Thothmes' and Ramesses' names, Champollion realized their significance. It went far beyond the names themselves and gave him an insight into the entire system of hieroglyphic writing. For the names revealed that hieroglyphs were not simply representations of sounds. Nor did they have an exclusively symbolic meaning, as Thomas Young and other scholars had long believed. Instead, they were a combination of the two.

What type of reasoning is shown in the excerpt?

A:moving from the big picture of hieroglyphics being both representations of sounds and symbols to the details of Thothmes's and Ramesses's names

B:moving from the big picture of Thothmes's and Ramesses's names to the details of the hieroglyphic translations

C:moving from the details of the individual hieroglyphics to the big picture of hieroglyphics being both representations of sounds and symbols

D:moving from the details of hieroglyphic writing to the big picture of Thomas Young and other scholars

If they were to add another president on Mount Rushmore whom do you think they should add

Answers

I would say whoever the first woman president will be (as long as she is a good president), only because that would be a really extraordinary event in American history. As far as presidents we have already had, I can't decide.
Personally I think Kennedy as I believe he was the only president truly assinated by the family of another President (Bush)
I also think he would have done wonderful things for this country.
He is a GREAT research, essay read!

What would happen if there is no rule of law

Answers

If there were no rules then the world would be thrown into anarchy and crime would run rampant (think of the movie The Purge). There would be senseless killings and no one would be safe.
If there was no rule of law then we would not be able to function properly. We need someone to tell us what to do, no matter how badly we hate the law we need it to guide us we need it to challenge. If there was no rule of law people would kill other people, robben, anything, trying to figure out where we are again. We would not been alive, so many people would not function, and give up, because someone has to be over us.
