Answer: Badan ini dibentuk sebagai upaya mendapatkan dukungan bangsa Indonesia dengan menjanjikan bahwa Jepang akan membantu proses kemerdekaan Indonesia. BPUPKI beranggotakan 63 orang yang diketuai oleh Radjiman Wedyodiningrat dengan wakil ketua Hibangase Yosio (orang Jepang) dan R.P.
