I’m really confused

7x - 4 = -2x + 1 + 9x - 5

Answers

7X - 9X + 2X = 1 - 5 + 4

7X - 11X = 1 - 9

- 4X = -8

X = -8 (divided) -4

X = 2
I’m also confused. Idk what you want. But im guessing its solving for x. If so, I will walk you through it.

7x-4=-2x+1+9x-5 first simplify it
7x-4=7x-4

Now you get something to where x has infinite solutions.

Seriously. Try to fill in x with any number and the problem will be correct.

The reason it works is because theres no possible way you can find what x is and the rest of the problem is still equal.

We want to try to get x all on one side but that’s impossible with this equation. So we just say x has infinite solutions.

***the answer is x has infinite solutions***

Ok... I'm not going to give you answers but I'll help you.
Examples:

Example 1:
2-4(3x+5) --- distribute the -4 to the 3x+5 to get...
2-12x-45 ---- do 2-45
-43-12x
and that's your answer since you can't combine the -43 with the -12x cuz, the -43 does have a variable.

Example 2:
5y+4-2y ---- so simplify first. 5y-2y. to get...
3y+4
and that the answer

cuz you can't combine a number with a variable(letter. y, x, etc.) with one that doesn't.

I hope this helps. This is easy. Trust me. if you still don't get it. Just comment. Hope this helps! :)

Math 10 oshua unfolded a cardboard box. The figure of the unfolded box is shown below:

A long rectangle divided along the length into 4 equal squares is shown. Along the upper edge length of the second square is shown another square, and along the lower edge length of the fourth square is shown another square. The first square from the left has two adjacent sides labeled as 3 inches each.

Which calculation will give the total surface area of the cardboard, in square inches, that was used to make the box?

a

Perimeter = 18.9

If you observe the triangle, you can see that all of its sides are equal. They are all s, or 6.3 mm. This means that to find the perimeter of the triangle, you can do either of two things:

1. You can multiple s by 3.

2. You can add s three times.

Either way, you will get the same answer. 6.3 • 3 = 18.9, and 6.3 + 6.3 + 6.3 = 18.9

If I am understanding the question correctly, then "type" means the type of triangle this triangle is. To figure this out, look at the measurements of the triangle. All of its sides are equal in length. That means that it is an equilateral triangle.

I know some schools like students to write "equilateral acute" triangles, since all of the angles are less than 90˚. If you want to be sure, I'd contact your teacher and ask.

Hope this helps!
The answer is 18.3 because if you all add the sides it will give you 18.3
