Answer:

The term used to describe the split in Christianity that resulted in the Catholic Church and the Easter Orthodox Church is the East-West Schism.

Explanation:

The East-West Schism refers to a conflictive religious event that occurred in the year 1054. In that conflict there was a mutual rupture and excommunication between the highest hierarch of the Catholic Church in Rome, the Pope or Bishop of Rome (together with the Christianity of the West), and the ecclesiastical hierarchies of the Orthodox Church (together with the Christianity of the East) especially the principal one of them, the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople. the day after jfk addressed the nation about the quarantine in Cuba various military leaders attempt to pressure him into the use of military force. explain what they try to get him to agree to do be as specific as possible

Answers

The military insisted on a full-scale assault on Cuba.  Kennedy on the hand was still hesitant because it could trigger nuclear war.  Inside they applied a policy of quarantine through a blockade.  Though a blockade could signal an act of war, Kennedy believe that would not provoke the Communists. Eventually both sides found themselves at a stalemate and negotiations solved the matter.

Franklin Roosevelt’s New Deal reforms sparked an ongoing national debate on the proper role of government. the legitimacy of Roosevelt’s election. the necessity of private business. the need to end the Great Depression.

Answers

The correct answer is the proper role of government.

FDR's New Deal program was based on the idea that the federal government should get directly involved in the American economy in order to fix the problems caused by the Great Depression. In order to combat these problems, FDR introduced several different federal agencies. These agencies ranged in their purpose. Some agencies were focused on decreasing the unemployment rate (like the Works Progress Administration) while others were focused on the government monitoring American industry (like the Securitites and Exchange Commission).

With this increase in the size and power of the federal government, many Americans worried that these programs were developing a federal government that interfers too much with the everyday life of American citizens. Some of these programs were even questioned as to whether or not they were constitutional, resulting in multiple court cases.

There are the two choices here:

The proper role of government.

The need to end the Great Depression.

To end the Depression, Roosevelt launched several programs to help farmers and laborers.  He also believed that at this point Government has to do more to stimulate economy and end the Depression.
