Answer: Hi Akeka,

So in the image, it's a little hard to see some of the bits, but I hope I am getting this right.

One of the options is Rotation, r (180° (lambda) (5,0)).

Now, if I'm remembering high school correctly, this means that Δ ABC needs to be rotated 180°, on the point (5,0) in order to get Δ DBE.

Looking back at the image, we can see that both triangles share the point B, which is at (5,0).  Now, to visually check, we can see that points C and E are exactly 180° apart from each other (think of the angle), and points D and A are exactly 180° apart.

We can see that Δ DBE is Δ ABC, rotated 180° on the point (5,0).

-Hope this helps and I hope I did this right!

The number of students in a chess club decreased from 24 to 14. What is the percent decrease? Roundyour answer to the nearest percent.

Answers

Answer:

The original amount: 24

Final amount: 14

Percent of change = amount of change/original amount

Amount of change = greater value-less value = 24-14 = 10

Percent of change = 10/24 = 0.42 = 0.42%

The cost of a jacket increased from $75.00 to $87.75. What is the percentage increase of the cost of the jacket?

Answers

1) we have to calculate the increase of the cost of the jacket.
Increase of the cost of the jacket=new price - previous price
increase of the cost of the jacket=$87.75 - $75.00=$12.75

2)Now, we calculate the percentaje incresae of the costo of the jacket by the rule of three.
$75=100%

$75------------------100%
$12.75-------------      x

x=($12.75 * 100%) / $75=17%

Answer: the percentage increase of the cost of the jacket is 17%

2x3y2 + 4y

Answers

Answer:

Option 4th is correct

2x^3y^2+4y

Step-by-step explanation:

GCF(Greatest common factor) is the largest number that divide the polynomial.

Given the statement:

the quantity 10 times x to the 6th power times y to the third power plus 20 times x to the third power times y to the 2nd power all over 5 times x to the third power times y

(10x^6y^3+20x^3y^2)/(5x^3y)

To simplify this expression:

GCF of 10x^6y^3 and 20x^3y^2 is, 10x^3y^2

then;

(10x^3y^2(x^3y+2))/(5x^3y)

2y(x^3y+2)

Using distributive property: a\cdot (b+c) = a\cdot b+ a\cdot c

2x^3y^2+4y

Therefore, the simplified expression is, 2x^3y^2+4y

(10x^6y^3 + 20x^3y^2) / 5x^3y

10x^6y^3 / 5x^3y ⇒ 2x^3y^2
20x^3y^2 / 5x^3y ⇒ 4y

2x³y² + 4y   This is the simplified answer. The last option.
