List some ways houses would be built differently if gravity were much stronger or weaker

Answers

Answer 1
Answer:

Gravity plays an important role in how we build our houses and structures. If gravity was much weaker on Earth, we would be able to use structures that are not as resistant. Buildings would not have to carry as much weight, which would mean that weaker materials would be able to be used.

On the other hand, much stronger gravity would mean that buildings would have to endure a lot more pressure. Moreover, everything inside the building (furniture, people, etc.) would be heavier, which would require stronger structures.

Answer 2
Answer: if gravity where much weaker, then the houses wouldnt need as much structural support, and then could be built much more taller as they wouldnt go through as much stress. and if gravity was stronger, buildings would need to be alot more structurally sound and wouldnt be able to maintain a tall structure as the force of gravity would be too much for them. hope i helped :3

What examples does
- Making Materials
- Moving Materials
- Removing Waste

Answers

Answer:

You remove waste as a gas (carbon dioxide), as a liquid (urine and sweat), and as a solid. Excretion is the process of removing wastes and excess water from the body. Recall that carbon dioxide travels through the blood and is transferred to the lungs where it is exhaled

Moving Materials include aluminum foil tape, shipping tape, box tape and duct tape. Moving labels take the guesswork out of the moving process.

What type of reaction does the following equation represent?FeS+2HCl→FeCl2+H2S
A. synthesis reaction
B. double-displacement reaction
C. single-displacement reaction
D. decomposition reaction

Answers

Answer:

B. double-replacement RXN

Explanation:

more specifically, this is a precipitation rxn.

Double-displacement because two elements are getting exchanged by the compounds. It is also a precipitation reaction because there seems to be an insoluble aqueous product.

How many moles of chlorine are in 300 liters of chlorine

Answers

Answer:

13.39 mol ≅ 13.4 mol.

Explanation:

  • It is known that 1.0 mole of any gas occupies 22.4 L at STP conditions.

Using cross multiplication:

1.0 mole of Cl₂ occupies → 22.4 L.

??? mole of Cl₂ occupies → 300.0 L.

∴ The no. of moles of Cl₂ are in 300 liters = (1.0 mol)(300.0 L)/(22.4 L) = 13.39 mol ≅ 13.4 mol.
