Sediments can be deposited by wind or water but water moves most.
Loess is wind deposited particles. Alluvium is water deposited soil.
The particles are one part but the place they settle impacts how they become rock because the geologic process will be different at the bottom of a deep marine sea than it is in a shallow off shore shelf.

Only the very smallest particles will be moved to mid-ocean but there will be many plankton and other organic deposits.

Coastal particles will vary in sizes . Water temperature will have more impact on the organic contributions here. Shallow tropical waters have coral and can form limestone.

A flatworm obtains oxygen needed for cellular respiration through simple diffusion. A human obtains oxygen by breathing it in from the air and into the lungs. Which system is the flatworm missing?

Answers

Flatworms are high-flattened organisms dependent on direct diffusion as means of oxygen intake and release of carbon. This small organisms lack "fully evolved respiratory tissues such as lungs or gills and complex circulatory system as means to transport oxygen through out the body.
>Direct diffusion of gases through the outer membranes can be used by organisms such as flatworms as a means of respiration due to their small size and simplicity.

Mrs. Hendren has decided that she would like to grow some tomatoes and wants to know how much light is the best amount, so she plants tomato seeds in 4 different pots and leaves one pot in the dark, she gives 6 hours of light a day to the second, eight hours of light a day to the third, and ten hours of light a day to the fourth. After 3 months she measures the size of the tomatoes grown. What is the independent variable?

Answers

Answer:

The correct answer is - the amount of the light received by pots.

Explanation:

An Independent variable is a type of variable which is a change or manipulated in aspecific research or study to find the response of the dependent variable.

In this study, to find the effect of the light on the plant Mrs. Hendren uses the time period of light received by the pots of the plant in order to see the effect on the plant. So the variable that is manipulated is the amount of the light received by the pots.

If a tRNA molecule has an anticodon which reads CAG, what was the codon on the mRNA molecule?

Answers

Answer: The correct codon on the mRNA molecule is GUC.

tRNA ( transfer RNA) molecule contains a sequence of three bases in the anticodon loop, which are complementary to the mRNA ( messenger RNA) codon.

mRNA codon codes for a particular amino acid like GUC in this case codes for Valine, which is carried by the tRNA molecule in its amino acid attachment site.

When anticodon matches with the codon in the mRNA, amino acids are assembled in a particular order, which results in the synthesis of protein.

Thus, the codon for the anticodon CAG is GUC.

The code on the mRNA molecule would have been GUC.

In biochemical reactions, it is mostly triggered by enzymes. Enzymes are important components in the process that involves metabolism and digestive functions, further, most of these enzymes are proteins. Proteins are biological macromolecule and mostly composed of enzymes. Proteins play a role in the physical make-up of a cell or acts as a cytoskeleton –maintains cell shape and figure. These proteins plays different roles and works with nucleic acids and other macromolecules in the cells including cell cycle, cell adhesion, immune response and cell indicators.

What does the term parallax mean in the context of literature?A. the rejection of the quest for meaning in the world
B. the use of one narrative to contextualize another
C. the use of multiple perspectives in a single book
D. the postmodern feature of integrating art and life

Answers

The right answer is C

Parallax is the angle that can exist between the direction of the gaze of an observer and the perpendicular to a graduation leading to an inaccurate reading of the measurement made.

In measuring instruments, the parallax error is practically eliminated by placing the needle or the index in the same plane and the image given by a mirror situated in the plane of the dial or the dial. 'ladder.

The term parallax could mean the use of multiple perspectives in a single book when you are using the context of literature.
