If you needed to triple a recipe would the rate change? Please explain

Answers

Yes the rate would changed because you increased the size of the recipe.
No. This is because it is proportional/equivalent. For Example 1 cup of flour for 2 cups of sugar is the same as 3 cups of flour for 6 cups of sugar

Heather has a bag with 16 red blocks, 11 blue blocks, 9 purple blocks, 15 green blocks, 8 yellow blocks, and 20 orange blocks. If she was to draw a block out of the bag, record the color and replace the block back in the bag, repeating 500 times, what would most likely be the probability of drawing an orange block (round to the nearest hundredth)? A) 0.14
B) 0.19
C) 0.20
D) 0.25

Answers

There is a total of 16+11+9+15+8+20 = 79 blocks.  Since she is replacing the block each time it is drawn, the probability that she draws an orange block is always the same (10 draws or 500 draws).  Since 20 of the blocks are orange, the probability would be

20/79 or

D) 0.25

Answer: D. 0.20

What is the equivalent of 4/6?

Answers

Fractions equivalent to 4/6:

It's really easy to find equivalent fractions, to make sure it's equivalent you have to do the SAME to both parts (denominator and numerator)

The most simplified of 4/6 is 2/3 (I halved both)

Other equivalents include, 8/12, 12/18 etc..
8\12 is equivalent to 4\6. Just multiply 4 by 2 and get 8 Just multiply 6 by 2 and get 12 That is how you get 8\12 from 4\6. Hope this helps P.S. Can you mark this as a brainliest answer.

remember that it is in (x,y) form

a. that is correct

b. reflection across the x-axis, that means just image the x axis is a mirror and whatever is on top goes to the bottom and whatever is on bottom goes to top. (nerd way is to multiply every x by -1 and regraph ex if you have to reflect the point (3,1) then multiply 3 by -1 to get (-3,1) and that's reflected across the x axis)

c. the image is of the one you graphed second (W'X'Y'Z') I think this questions means which side coresponds with the new YZ so the answer is YZ
 part 2.
WX and W'X'
XY and X'Y'
ZW and Z'W'

d. so angle x is congruent with angle x' (the new angle x)
congruent are
w and w'
z and z'
x and x'
A) The graph accurately graphs quadrilateral WXYZ.

B) Just multiply the x-values of the points by -1 and re-graph the quadrilateral with the new values. I'll do it for you:
W: (2,-2)
X: (-3,1)
Y: (-5,-1)
Z: (-4,-6)
I even graphed it for you using desmos: (I've attached it.)

C) I think they want to you to answer the question using the new graph I just graphed. So the line that is congruent to YZ would be Y'Z'. (The " ' " is used to show a congruent figure.) The other three figures are done the same way with XY congruent to X'Y', WX congruent to W'X', and ZW congruent to Z'W'.

D) You can find the angle x by calculating the slope of XY and XW but I don't think that's what the question means. But you can take the easy way out and say that angle x is congruent to angle x'. Similarly, angle w is congruent to angle w', angle y is congruent to angle y', and angle z is congruent to angle z'.

Morgan fills a 1-liter jar with water from the pond. She uses a 100-milliliter cup to scoop water out of the pond and pour it into the jar. How many times will Morgan scoop water from the pond to fill the jar?

Answers

Answer:

Number of scoops required = 10

Step-by-step explanation:

Morgan fills a 1-liter jar with water from the pond.

Capacity of Jar = 1 liter

She uses a 100-milliliter cup to scoop water out of the pond and pour it into the jar.

Capacity of cup used to pour in to the Jar = 100 milliliter

We have relation

         1 liter = 1000 ml

         1 liter = 100ml x 10

Capacity of Jar = Capacity of cup used to pour in to the Jar x 10

Number of scoops required = 10

1000 times I think
