Context clues refer to indications a writer provides to help determine the meaning of a difficult or unusual word. The clue may be located within the same sentence as the word to which it refers or in a nearby sentence. Therefore, they help readers make a supposition based on knowledge or evidence, which is likely to be correct.

The author supports the main idea in this paragraph with an example that shows why the stories are fit for children. Thus, option C is correct.
The Grimm's presented an adolescent, reserved, oppressed boy who had been left in the woods by his own brothers. When he met the devil, he takes his offer to wear the devil's green coat, which allows him to live for seven years only with the condition that he does not do shaving or keep himself clean.
In this excerpt, it is shown how the people should understand the conditions that their children are living in and how there is slaughtering, famine, and killing in the excerpt.
By using an example, it shows and tries to explain the main reason and the viewpoint. Therefore, option C is the correct option.

the complete Question is given below:
A courtroom judge's decisions should be fair and impartial, rather than biased and subjective.
A. reached through logical reasoning
B. determined by independent sources
C. drawn from facts, data, and evidence
D. based on personal opinions and experiences
The role of a judge is to deliver fair and impartial decisions. Substantive due process ensures everyone is treated fairly and judicial independence insulates judges from outside influences. However, judges' personal beliefs and political ideologies can sometimes subtly influence their rulings.
In a legal context, a courtroom judge's decisions should indeed be fair and impartial. A judge's function includes interpreting and applying a country's laws in criminal, civil, and constitutional disputes. Their decisions are informed by the legal facts of each case, adhering to substantive due process which ensures that each person is treated fairly and equally under the Constitution.
However, it's important to note that judges, being humans, may have personal beliefs and political ideologies that can potentially influence their decisions. Nonetheless, a judge's political leaning or ideological preference should not lead to biased rulings.
The selection of judges also plays into the impartiality of the courtroom. Some states hold nonpartisan elections for some of their judge positions while others appoint, all aiming to minimize political partisanship. Judicial independence is paramount, ensuring that judges are free to interpret cases without outside influences or pressures.

Hey ! I will try to answer this question...
It was the last day of school and I was looking forward to having a day at the beach in order to relax from all the day's work.My brother and I had just finished packing our things into a suitcase and loading them into the car,we got into the car and zoomed off to the brach feeling happy and satisfied with what I had done. When we arrived at the beach we sat down and arranged all our things on the sand and decided to sit there to relax. Then all of a sudden we heard someone screaming in the river,my brother and I were terrified that we jumped up in fear and ran to where the little boy was,it was very obvious that he couldn't swim well so I told my brother to go and call the lifeguard and his parents,I wanted to wait for my brother to arrive but since the little boy was already drowning I decided to dive into the water and save the little boy I held on to him and swam back to shore, then I saw my brother and everyone had gathered and started praising me I was happy and me and my brother enjoyed the rest of our day in the beach. The experience was terrifying but fun at the same time.
