He then relies on his own instinct and emerge as aa leader in the wild.

Jake London has spent a year in Yukon for the materials for his book. In the summer of 1903, the story of Buck was first serialized in the Saturday Evening Post. One month later, the story was published as a book form. This book received great popularity and success, and has become a reputation for London. In the early 1923, Buck’s story was then adapted info a film. Since then, there has been several cinematic adaptations of Buck and his story.
