Whatprocess makes your writing flow and “sound like music?” a.Editing thelanguage of your essay      c.Editing thetitle of your essay    b.Editing the punctuation of youressay  d.None ofthese

Answers

Answer 1
Answer: My best answer would most likely be a. Editing the language of your essay.
Editing the title is only a first impression and could be followed by a piece of writing lacking in flow. Editing punctuation would be my second choice, but it doesn't apply as much, in my opinion. And for the last choice, I'm pretty sure at least on of the three are practical options.

Answer 2
Answer:

The process that makes your writing flow and "sound like music" is option A. editing the language of your essay. Editing the punctuation will only change the speed of the reading of the writing, Meanwhile, when deciding the words you will implement in the essay you can create different sounds that could result in a type of music. For instance, you can repeat the consonants or vowels to create a sound and the resource known as alliteration gives a sentence flow.

The process of gathering information with your eyes is called____.A. central vision
B. peripheral vision
C. rubbernecking
D. visual perception

Answers

The process of gathering information with your eyes is called D. visual perception. Visual perception refers to everything that you see and find out using only your eyes - not relying on your other senses other than sight. This includes both central and peripheral vision, which is why A and B are not correct, and C just refers to staring at something you find interesting.

What is metaphor of language?

Metaphors are a type of figurative language, which is used to describe words or statements that have a deeper meaning than they actually do. The literal interpretation of metaphors is frequently quite absurd.

A common metaphor is "Time is money," for instance. The comparison between time and money is figurative; it does not suggest that the quantity of time and the amount of money are equal. Rather, it implies that time is a scarce resource that should be used wisely to generate income.

One participant in our Metaphors for Language Learning session at the recent LinguaMania event at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford gave the analogy that learning a language could be like traversing an ocean.

Thus, option D is correct.

The Adventures of Huckleberry FinnMark Twain

1 You don't know about me without you have read a book by the name of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer; but that ain't no matter. That book was made by Mr. Mark Twain, and he told the truth, mainly. There was things which he stretched, but mainly he told the truth. That is nothing. I never seen anybody but lied one time or another, without it was Aunt Polly, or the widow, or maybe Mary. Aunt Polly--Tom's Aunt Polly, she is--and Mary, and the Widow Douglas is all told about in that book, which is mostly a true book, with some stretchers, as I said before.

2 Now the way that the book winds up is this: Tom and me found the money that the robbers hid in the cave, and it made us rich. We got six thousand dollars apiece--all gold. It was an awful sight of money when it was piled up. Well, Judge Thatcher he took it and put it out at interest, and it fetched us a dollar a day apiece all the year round --more than a body could tell what to do with. The Widow Douglas she took me for her son, and allowed she would civilize me; but it was rough living in the house all the time, considering how dismal regular and decent the widow was in all her ways; and so when I couldn't stand it no longer I lit out. I got into my old rags and my sugar-hogshead again, and was free and satisfied. But Tom Sawyer he hunted me up and said he was going to start a band of robbers, and I might join if I would go back to the widow and be respectable. So I went back.

B) mainly

The word "mainly" shows that the story of Huck Finn is more fiction than fact. He repeats this word many times when he is talking about the story being one of truth. This intensifier introduces the idea of the story being a bit exaggerated and fictional. The other words add to the characterization of Huck. He uses ain't simply to mean isn't. When he says "that ain't no matter" he means that it is no big deal. Without is used to mean exactly that and is not meant as an opposite.
