Which areas were obtained after the revolutionary war?

Answers

Answer 1
Answer: Well actually the colonies were not ours at first we were in Great Britain (U.K.) territory and we fought for our Independence because we were being over taxed for a decision we didn't even make and that decision was to have war with France. So when we had the revolutionary war we gained the colonies.

In a brief paragraph, discuss whether you think Van Cliburn played a role in the politics of the Cold War.

Answers

Van Cliburn made a difference in Cold War politics. If the Soviet people thought that all Americans were hostile toward them, they would have considered all Americans as enemies. However, because the Soviets saw that Van Cliburn respected them and their culture, they formed a better opinion of the American people. Van Cliburn may not have ended the Cold War, but he helped build the relationship between the United States and the Soviet Union.

The American pianist Harvey Lavan Cliburn, in the middle of the Cold War won the international Chaikovsky piano competition in Moscow and his music transcends decades of east-west clashes.  Fame came to Cliburn in 1958 when he took first place in the first international Chaikovsky piano competition in Moscow, which made him a genuine winner in the midst of ideological tensions and threats between the USSR and the United States.  Although Clibum, I do not take part in the Cold War, if we can affirm that His virtuous interpretation of the symphonies of Chaikovsky and Rafmaninov prevented the Kremlin authorities from ideologically using the contest.

No, because the 3/5 comprimise says that slaves (for representation and tax purposes) were only 3/5 of a person. Today of course we know that blacks are a full person. However, at the time, it was useful and a good comprimise when the issue of slaves was split like it was in the country.
no i don't because i don't think that slaves should have been counted as 3/5 of a person

What physical feature formed the southern boundary of the Roman empire

Answers

Originally, it was the Mediterranean: and the Roman empire was on the Italian peninsula.

After they conquered the sea, the border was the desert (the Sahara Desert): a very difficult area to go through: it both protected the empire and limited it.
