Why did Latin American countries remain economically dependent on western nations when they were no longer political countries

Answers

Answer 1
Answer: The main reason why Latin American countries remained economically dependent on western nations is because western nations used them for raw materials during the Industrial Revolution, making it hard for them to develop any other kind of economy.

Economic conditions after World War I led to

Answers

Answer:     The rise of fascism, Nazism, the strengthening of weapon production and WWII

Explanation:  The economic conditions after the First World War and the period of the 1930's were marked by the economic crisis. These opportunities are usually the ideal ground for the outcome of totalitarian regimes, which in their politic programs offer a recovery of the economy, the revival of production and the return of national pride, which is usually shaken by poor economic opportunities.  Thus, Mussolini and Fascism appear in Italy and Hitler with Nazism in Germany, with demagogic and inflammatory speeches about a glorious future. These and such "national uprising" mean the launching of an economy and, of course, the production of weapons in order to restore unjustly seized territories, and to acquire the living space necessary for national and economic revival. Such conditions lead to the imposition of will by force, occupation and ultimately to WWII.

Could the Allies have beaten Germany without a "second front" in Europe?

Answers

That's hard to say, but if Germany decided not to fight a two-front war, World War ll definitely would have continued for a longer period of time. Russia and Germany signed a Non-Aggression Pact in which they promised never to invade one another, but Hitler went back on his promise and sent troops to attack Russia. Big mistake. Despite studying Napoleon and his defeat in Russia, Hitler still decided to invade and was caught off guard by the Russian winter. Germany lost thousands of soldiers to illness and frostbite and exhausted all of their supplies and to top that off Germany suffered a huge loss at the Battle of Stalingrad and surrendered in 1943. If these events hadn't occurred, the probability of the Axis Powers winning WWll would have been much greater, or the Allied may not have won by such a large margin.
