my best guess is 135 because if it can fit cubes with 1/4 inch sides, that means it can fit 9 cubes going lengthwise, and 3 cubes wide which is 27 cubes on the base. then it can fit 5 cubes, all 1/4 inch going up because in 1 1/4 inch there are 5 quarter inches. so if you multiply 27 by 5 you get 135.
