Which European country sent the most settlers to Brazil?

Answers

Answer 1
Answer: Portiugal because Spanish came to Brazil from the country of Portugal!
Answer 2
Answer: Brazil speaks Portuguese so we can see some influence here. Definetly Portugal was the one who sent the most settlers here. Behind them were the French, who wanted to form a colony here called Antarctic France, the French settling was commanded by Villegaignon. The reason why Spain didn't make Brasil a colony was because of a treaty the made with Portugal called the Treaty of Tordesilhas, establishing the borders and limits of each country's colony.
