In world war 2 what was the significance of events of the Nazi Soviet Pact?

Answers

Answer 1
Answer: Nazi-Soviet Pact (Ribbentrop - Molotov) predates WW2 by a week (German and soviet cooperation goes few years back, they have trained their armies together).

Due to this pact Hitler obtained Soviet help in attack on Poland (Germany attacked on 1 Sept, and USSR on 17th Sept). During WW2 6,5 milion of Polish citizens died in battles, mass murders, roundups, concentration camps, gulags, (17% of population)  not counting Jews, Gypsies who also died on Polish soil. I think those numbers are significant.

Due to this pact, USSR was surprised by German's attack in June 1941, and it explains why german army advanced so fast, during first months of the campaign (Stalin didn't believe that such similar soul as Hitler could do such thing to him).

What system replaced the headright system as a way of allocating land

Answers

Answer:

The Land Lottery System of Land Allocation replaced the Headright System.

Explanation:

The headright system of land allocation was a process of land allocation that was prevalent in Georgia, Virginia, and other states in the United States of America in the 1600s. The system entailed the grant of 50 acres of land to settlers in the States where the system was applicable. The grant served as an incentive to encourage immigrants/settlers into the regions. It was used as a means of increasing the population in the region as well as increasing the labor force in these regions. However, in 1800s, the land lottery system replaced the headright sytem of land allocation. The land lottery system of land allocation was a method of land allocation that entail the casting of lots. Under this system, qualified citizens registered for the lottery, and the winner in the raffles draw is entitled to the allotment of lands that was formerly occupied by  the creek Indians. This system of land allocation held sway in Georgia between 1805 to 1833.

Answer:

The text that would most likely appear on one of the protestors' signs would be 'Protect our resources: Keep our water here!'

Explanation:

  • The protestors are vigilant enough to understand that if the water bottling company starts using the water from the spring, the water from the stream would soon be depleted.
  • Moreover, they also understand that the company would simply bottle the water obtained free of cost from the spring and monetize it by selling it to the citizens for a predetermined cost.
