Today is September 11. What do you know about this day in America? What happened on this day? Why do you think this happened? What has changed since Sept 11, 2001?

Answers

Answer:

Answer:

Two hijacked planes smashed into the World Trade Center buildings in New York City on September 11, 2001. A third plane collided with the Pentagon, and a fourth airliner was shot down in a Pennsylvania field by brave passengers attempting to stop the terrorists. A large number of people were injured, and a large number of people killed. This was an extraordinary attack that shocked the entire world.

The American people have changed in the way that we do not trust so easily and can sometimes feel fearful now of other cultures. After the terrorist attack on September 11th, America was never the same. For one, air travel completely changed. The al Qaeda hijackers were able to pass airport security, board the plane with no issues, and then force themselves into the cockpit. It was clear that America’s security failed and was not at the level it should have been at. This all changed when the Transportation Security Administration was created and authorized by the United States Congress in November of that year. With the TSA came new regulations that are what we see today. TSA requires photo IDs to pass through the screening area, shoes need to be removed, carry on liquids can only be in three-ounce containers, and one needs to pass through full-body scanners. They have also been trained to detect signs of suspicious behavior. I believe that students should be taught this when they can understand the seriousness of this event that occurred. The event should be taught as it happened. There is no reason to make the event less of what it was. They should talk about the ones who suffered, the ones who gave their lives for others, and the families and friends who lost someone. It is important to teach this event that changed America forever. I think the memorial is very appropriate and it is good to honor and remember those who lost their lives. This is especially important for the ones who lost someone in their lives.

LANA: I set a goal of reading half a chapter without interruptions. Last night, I met that goal but didn't know what to do next. HOWARD: When you meet this goal, you should

Answers

After Lana has reached her goal of reading half of the chapter without interruptions, she called her friend Howard for advice. Howard should have told Lana to take a short break before starting on the next half of the chapter. This will give Lana time to do things that may cause interruptions with her studying the next half of the chapter. After you finish a goal like studying, you should always take a break to get your mind and body refreshed. A small break will help you have a clearer mind.
