Some people say teenagers shouldn't be treated as adults because they think teens are not mature enough to control themselves. However I believe that teens should be treated as adults because they are already responsible for their actions and know what's good or bad, another reason is if they do something bad they'll know the consequences and they know will be treated as adults not kids, another reason is they learn from their mistakes. ( is my thesis good pleaseeeeeeee?)

It never really fully explained in the book. You have to pay close attention to details and little things that nick did and said about wealthy people in the book and if you have watched the movie it gives you a better understanding. Nick doesn't agree with how most wealthy people act. If you can't act right and be wealthy then he disapproves that's just his opinion about it. Hope that helped!

Why was George Washington a hero?

Answers

George Washington was a hero because he helped lead the Americans into victory during the American Revolution. He helped the United States become a free country.
George Washington risked his money, his prestige and even his life to be on the forefront of the American revolution. After independence was declared, he assumed the command of the Colonial army. The men were largely untrained and came from all the different colonies and had to whipped into a fighting unit. Many enlisted for only a short time and so constant replacements were needed. Moreover, supplies were scarce. The colonial government found it hard to collect taxes and the colonies often did not provide their share of supplies. But Washington did what had to be done, kept the army together, kept after the suppliers, borrowed money and won the long war over the well-trained and well-equipped British army and its mercenaries.

What is the best way to combine these sentences using a prepositional phrase?Mom said it was time to paint the house. She had that "don't-try-to-get-out-of-it" look.
A. Mom said it was time to paint the house with that "don't-try-to-get-out-of-it" look.
B. Mom said it was time, with that "don't-try-to-get-out-of-it" look, to paint the house.
C. Mom, with that "don't-try-to-get-out-of-it" look, said it was time to paint the house.

Answers

C is the correct answer, because A and B don't have the prepositional phrase in the right place, it is misplaced, so in A it actually refers to 'paint', when it should refer to the look on her face, and in B the prepositional phrase also incorrectly refers to 'time' in this case. Only the last option has the prepositional phrase in the right spot.
