Mothers who were unresponsive, insensitive, and coldly rejecting were associated with ___________ attached infants.A. securely
B. avoidant
C. ambivalent
D. disorganized/disoriented
E. slow-to-warm-up

Can someone explain this one for me?

Answer 1
Answer: The question seems to be double loaded to me. There are 4 kinds of moms who raise babies that develop certain characteristics. Generally there is the avoidant  mother who is insensitive the needs of the baby and will disregard the needs of the baby. There is the secure baby mom who is loving and does all she can for her child. There is the ambivalent baby mom who tries to take care of the baby's needs but easily distracted and inconsistent with baby care. The last type is the disorganized/disoriented mom who is what we know to be the abusive mother. There are 4 kinds of babies. The first one is the secure baby reaction to strangers. This baby will cry when mother leaves the room but will be happy again once the mother returns. The second baby reaction is advoidant. This baby doesn't seem to care if mom comes or goes. Ambivalent baby reactions are more strenuous when the mom leaves the room. The baby clearly wants its mother and will cry while she is gone. Mother will have to console the child when she comes back in but baby will seem angry at the mother for a while. The last type is the disorganized/disoriented baby who doesn't seem to know what it wants.

The information I read does not list a mom that is all of the above. So if I had to guess, I would say a mother with all those attachment disorders would have a disorganized/disoriented reaction to the mother.

Are there options? If so, may I see them?

I'm assuming the answer will be something that firmly and clearly says "no," expresses a lack of a desire or want to something, and maybe (maybe?) provides an explanation as to why.

ex. "No, I don't want to." or "No, I don't have any desire to. Smoking has many health related risks."

Which of the following activities does NOT improve stability?A.

maintaining a narrow base

B.

lowering your center of gravity

C.

doing balancing exercises

D.

leaning into oncoming forces

Answers

Answer:

maintaining a narrow base ( A )

Explanation:

stability is the ability of not being prone little or big changes in the surroundings that you find yourself in a nutshell stability is the ability of being stable or maintaining a balance.

Maintaining a narrow base makes it less likely for an object or person to be stable because standing a base that is narrower in relation to the base of the object placed on it makes the object to be prone to little distortions like wind and other external force which might not be great enough to move the object if it was on a wider base.

Maintaining a narrow base does NOT improve stablilty. It makes you unblanced, that that is where joint problem begins.
