Answer 2
Answer: There are four types of erosion: Attrition, Abrasion, Solution and Hydraulic action.
Hydraulic action- the force of water that wears away the river bank from underneath.
Attrition- rocks being carried by the river smash together and break into smaller pieces. Over time, they become smaller and are reduced into fine particles called slit.
Abrasion- stones that are carried by the river bump into the river bank and wear them away.
Solution- acids in the water slowly dissolve the river banks and the stones- especially limestone- that the river is carrying.

PLEASE HELP! I know this isn't a homework question but PLEASE HELP! My pet parakeet flew out of his cage because someone accidentally left it open. I have no idea where my bird is and need help. How do i find my bird and get him to fly back to his cage? My bird is the same color as the sky and we live near a lot of trees. PLEASE HELP! The cage was also outside.

Answers

My suggestion: The only thing you can do is leave the cage in exactly the same place, leave the door to it wide open, and keep plenty of fresh food and fresh water in it. Check it several times a day. If he's not there in, like a week or 10 days, then there's not much hope. I'm sorry.

Weathering and erosion both contribute to the disintegration of rocks. Please select the best answer from the choices provided T F

Answers

Answer:

TRUE

Explanation:

Weathering refers to the breaking down of rocks into smaller particles due to agents such as wind, water, and ice. In simple words, it means the disintegration of rocks.

Erosion is the process that involves the picking up of the broken sediments and transporting and deposition of these materials into another place.

Thus, these are the two prime factors that are responsible for the disintegration of the rocks.

Hence, the above-given statement is true.

Answer:

true

Explanation:

Erosion breaks rocks down further and then moves them. Forces like wind and water move the rock pieces. They mix with matter like sand to become sediment. Weathering and erosion help shape Earth's surface.
