Answer: cell membrane .
Photopigments
MItochondria
Nucleus
Contractile vacoule
Answer 2
Answer:

Like rods, each cone cell has an outer segment, an inner segment, a cell body, and a synaptic terminal. The outer segment consists of the numerous membrane disks containing the photopigments. The inner segment contains the cell's endoplasmic reticulum, golgi apparatus, and mitochondria.

What makes the cell theory a scientific theory

Answers

Answer;

Cell theory is a scientific theory since its a set of principles, postulates and ideas that have been supported by a wide range of evidence which explains why and how some aspect of the natural world behaves the way it does.

Explanation;

A scientific theory is a well supported and widely accepted explanation for the way something in nature works.

It is based on facts that have been repeatedly confirmed through observation and experiment.

Cell theory states that the cell is the fundamental structural and functional unit of living organisms and these organisms are composed of autonomous cells with properties that brings out the properties of it as a whole.

It's a scientific theory because we can make valid predictions that are then true if we set them to the test. This is the main points of any scientific theory and also the reason why the cell theory counts as one.

Write the balanced chemical equations for photosynthesis and cellular respiration

Answers

Answer: The balanced chemical equation for photosynthesis is 6CO2 + 6H2O + sunlight --> C6H12O6 + 6O2.

The balanced chemical equation for cellular respiration is C6H12O6 + 6O2 --> 6CO2+ 6H2O + Energy.

Explanation: Photosynthesis and cellular respiration are two opposite reactions. In photosynthesis, plants use carbon dioxide, water and sunlight to produce glucose and oxygen while in cellular respiration, both plants and animals breakdown glucose in the presence of oxygen to produce carbon dioxide and water with the release of energy.

Photosynthesis occurs only in plants and some photosynthetic bacteria while cellular respiration occurs in both plants and animals. The energy released from the breakdown of glucose in cellular respiration is used to drive other cellular processes.

Each of the two processes depends on the other for the supply of its reactants. Photosynthesis depends on cellular respiration for the supply of carbon dioxide and water while cellular respiration depends on photosynthesis for the supply of glucose and oxygen.

Final answer:

The balanced chemical equation for photosynthesis is 6CO2 + 6H2O -> C6H12O6 + 6O2. The balanced chemical equation for cellular respiration is C6H12O6 + 6O2 -> 6CO2 + 6H2O. These equations represent the conversions that occur in photosynthesis and cellular respiration.

Explanation:

The balanced chemical equation for photosynthesis is. The equations represent the conversion of carbon dioxide and water to glucose and oxygen in photosynthesis, and the reverse conversion of glucose and oxygen to carbon dioxide and water in cellular respiration.

6CO2 + 6H2O C6H12O6 + 6O2

The balanced chemical equation for cellular respiration is:

C6H12O6 + 6O2 6CO2 + 6H2O

The equations represent the conversion of carbon dioxide and water to glucose and oxygen in photosynthesis, and the reverse conversion of glucose and oxygen to carbon dioxide and water in cellular respiration.

Sends signals between the brain and body - Nervous Tissue

Protects the skin from bacteria and particles - Epethelial Tissue

Allows shivering to produce ear and maintain body temperature - Muscle Tissue

Provides structural support for the organs - Connective Tissue

Answer:

Nervous Tissue

Epithelial Tissue

Connective Tissue

Muscle Tissue

Explanation:

sends signals  between the  brain and body - nervous tissue

protects the skin  from bacteria and  other particles - epithelial tissue

allows shivering  to produce heat  to maintain body  temperature - muscle tissues

provides structural  support for the  organs - connective tissue

Nervous tissues are distinct type of tissues within the nervous system responsible for the communication and control between the brain and the rest of the body. They communicate by sending signals between the brain and the body parts.

Epithelial tissues are specialized tissues that line and protect the surfaces of organs both within and outside the body. A special epithelial tissue covers the skin and protect it from bacteria and other particles.

Connective tissues are those found in between other tissues of the body and serve supportive and protective functions.

Muscle tissues are soft tissues that serves to allow movement of body parts as a result of contraction.

Which of these is an example of mutualism?A -Cattle egret eats the exposed insects as the cattle graze
B -Honeybee pollinates a flower while gathering nectar
C -Tick gains nourishment by sucking blood from a dog
D -Two bucks fight to gain territory and to gain a mate

Answers

The correct answer is B. Honeybee pollinates a flower while gathering nectar.

Mutualism is an interspecific interaction between two species in which both the species are benefited from the interaction. Honeybee visits flower to collect nectar for its food. In the process of collecting nectar, pollen grains stuck to its body. Flower gets pollinated when hone bee visits another flower. Thus, both  honeybee and plants get benefit from this interaction.

its B cause it the both good for each other

What are some of the ways earth is protected by its atmosphere

Answers

The ozone layer keeps harmful rays from the sun also the atmosphere burns up small deburey from rockets, space trash ex. Also small rocks and particles can get burned before hitting the earth. One of the greatest things is it keeps spefic gasses needed for life like oxygen in the world.
Well, the atmosphere has various layers. One of which is the stratosphere. This stratosphere consists of a thin layer consisting of a gas. This is called the ozone layer. This ozone layer refracts the ultraviolent rays of the sun. Through this, the ultra violent rays are prevented from reaching the earth. If these ultra violent rays get to the earth, it can completely destroy all life on earth. It can lead to skin cancer and some other problems. The ozone layer in the atmosphere prevents this from happening. Through this, it protects the earth. Although, this ozone layer can be destroyed by CFC's, which are chloroflourocarbons. These gases cause the ozone layer to deplete. They also get trapped in the earth and cannot escape, causing the green house effect which leads to global warming, causing the melting of ice caps. HOPE I HELPED.
