I have to write a horror/scary story soon for my Language Arts class. I've never written one before. I need some tips and a creative idea for my story.

Answers

for a horror story always make the character in first person so for example "as i ran my heart skipped a beat i knew someone was following me but who and why" and usually because these are creepy make them have a creepy background "running through the spider webs and into the darkness i didn't care if i had spiders in my hair i didn't care if i was wondering around endlessly" always have the character contemplate what's happening "was this the end will have life stopped for the better of it is it time for me to be swallowed into the abyss"(i hope this helped)

Has anyone who really been far has decided to do is even go want to do look more like you've. Got to be kidding me. Even further even more decided to use even go need to do look more as anyone can can. You really be far even as decided half as much to use go wish for that my guess is that.

What do you learn about Maya and the conflicts she faces in lines 1-14?The story is called "My Favorite Chaperone"

Plz hurry up

Answers

From the first fourteen lines of the story, I learn that

  • Maya has trouble reconciling that which she had passion for and that which her parents found acceptable.

Maya faces self conflict when she was handed the permission slip for Spring-Fling, an all-dance group. She loved the idea of dancing and being in that school, but when she handed her parents the permission slip to sign for her, their answer was always a No.

Their culture as Kazakhs influenced her parents decision. So, in these first few paragraphs, Maya battles within herself for accepting the permission slip when she knew that she had always gotten a no.

In the first 14 lines of the story, we learn that Maya is an immigrant that now lives in America. She is having trouble adjusting to a new culture here in the states. The conflict that she is facing is that her parents want her to behave like a regular Kazakh girl, but also like an American girl. this is the conflict that she faces. She is being torn trying to be like her old self but in a new culture.

Further Explanation:

The story "My Favorite Chaperone" tells the story of an immigrant family that has moved from central Asia to the United States. The parents want their daughter, Maya, to keep acting like the other children in her home country acts, but also to learn the American culture so that she will fit in. The parents do not want Maya to attend a school dance and want to chaperone her but she doesn't want her parents to attend. Her older brother steps in and talks the parents into letting Maya attend the Spring Fling dance on her own.
