Romeo and Juliet persuasive essayI have to persuade someone that if Romeo and Juliet were actually in love or they were crushing really hard.
Can someone read my introduction for my persuasive essay and give feedback:
"Real love is when you are completely committed to someone;/Real love is not based on romance." Romeo and Juliet are star-crossed lovers who love each other at first sight and become married the next day. In Romeo and Juliet, by William Shakespeare, two families feud with each other while to teenagers from opposite families fall in love and get married which leads them to die together.

This is what I have so far.

Answer 1
Answer: your trying to state that love is not just romance then i think this will work
Answer 2
Answer: I think that it's a pretty good introduction to start with. You have your eye catching sentence that will make someone want to read further, you have a quick recap to get the reader caught up, now all you need is supporting evidence on WHY you think that people should think whichever way you're trying to persuade them. Use textual evidence, maybe some emotional appeal with the fact that they died for each other, etc. EXPLAIN how they died for one and other, and why. Was it because they were truly in love or was it because they just had a crush? You're off to a great start!

Why does the ministers wife send for miss emilys relations

Answers

In William Faulkner's short story "A Rose for Emily", The ministers' wives, or other townspeople, may send for Miss Emily's relations to address certain concerns or situations involving her.

In the story "A Rose for Emily", Miss Emily Grierson is a reclusive woman who lives in the town of Jefferson. She comes from a prominent family that has fallen on hard times. In order to address particular issues or circumstances surrounding Miss Emily, the ministers' wives or other town residents would send for her family members. Since Miss Emily lives in isolation and doesn't interact much with the community, her relatives might be contacted to intervene or provide support if there are any problems or needs that arise.

Decide if the following is an opinion. The song switches time signatures twice.

A. opinion

B. not an opinion

Answers

The correct answer is B. Not an opinion

Explanation:

An opinion is a statement that expresses one's feelings, perspectives or position towards a subject, because of this opinions are subjective and vary in each person, an example of this is the opinion people have about a particular movie. Additionally, the oppositive to an opinion is a fact that does not depend on the thoughts of each person but describes reality and therefore can be proved such as the distance from one place to another. In the case of "The song switches time signatures twice" this is not an opinion because the number of times there are switches in time signatures in a song does not depend on the point of view of people but is a reality that can be proved either by listening to the song or looking at the music sheet.

It is not an opinion. A person's thoughts or feelings towards a certain thing/subject are not being expressed.
