What does protecting the environment have to do with our relationship with god?
Answers
Answer 1
Answer:
While I do not believe in anything myself, I think I can help with this. The environment or world was created by God in the bible. Therefore, respecting the world and taking care of it could be seen as a physical representation as a devotion to God himself. It would considered the same as respecting other people in the eyes of God. If you had created something for someone, you would want them to protect it, would you not? This world is the reason you are able to live your life devoted to God, so I could see why it would be important to protect. There may be another (more spiritual) reason, but this is what I thought of when reading your question.

How are images of life and death contrasted in the poem 'In Flanders Field'?2 PEE paragraphs
Answers
This was surprisingly hard, as I've never studied this poem before. I went into some detail but not a lot. If you would like more just say. (May take a while) Life was hard. I could of done poppies for life but you said it didn't fit you. Feel free to edit as much as you would like!!
The Poem 'In Flanders Field' portrays an image of life and alsodeath. Aswe already know this poem is about the loss in war and how poppies grew onfallen soldiers graves. The Lines ‘Flanders fields thepoppies blow/Between the crosses, row on row,’' givesoff this idea. The first line shows poppies are blooming and are untouched tobe able to do so. The second line shows there are crosses, which are usuallylinked to death and graves. This means people have died. By putting these linestogether, it shows soldiers have died, which is a sense of death, and thepoppies are in full life. Life isalso in this poem, just hidden. ‘We are the Dead. Shortdays ago Welived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,…’ This means soldiers have lived. By putting‘felt dawn, saw sunset glow’ shows you could off only been a living, breathingcreation to of felt this. Humans are one of these things. Also the word ‘lived’highlights this in great detail. Overall an image of life and unfortunately death is shown.
