How to multiply 8/10 and 5/6

Answers

Are u multiplying them together 8/10 divided by 5/6?   2/3 is the answer

Hey there!

To multiply numbers, is basically adding them the number they are being multiplied with!

Therefore, 8x10= 80

8+8+8+8+8+8+8+8+8+8= 80

5x6= 30

5+5+5+5+5+5=30

How do you solve this?

Answers

Answer:

a=4, b=144

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's take two random points of X and y and simplify the equation containing a and b; let's go,

Points (4,-5); (6,0)

For (4,-5)

-5= a -b/ (4 x4)

-5= a- b/16; -80= 16a - b[ by multiplying through by 16]

For (6,0);

0= a -b/ ( 6x6) ; 0=a- b/36

Multiplying through by 6, we have:

0= 36a-b; 36a=b;

So the modified equation of a and b are;

b=36a

b=16a+ 80[ modifying the derived expression moving b to the left]

So if we equate both expressions,

We have:

36a=16a+80;

36a-16a=80, 20a= 80; a= 80/20= 4;

a=4;

Substituting the value of a into any expression for b; we have

b= 36a= 36x4 =144

Hence a=4, b= 144

Y=a-b/x².

Using first column: x=1, y=140

140=a-b

Using last colimn: x=6, y=0

0=a-b/36, b=36a

140=a-b=a-36a=-35a

a=-140/35=-4

b=36a=36×(-4)=-144

Answer: a=-4, b=-144

moving the decimal over one space to the left. (9.852)

Explanation:
If you multiply a decimal by 10 the decimal point will move one space to the right to make a bigger number. But, if you divide by 10, it will move one space to the left to make a smaller number. (÷ means left, x means right) The The rule is, however many 0’s you have after the 1, that is how many spaces you move your decimal point. For an example if I wanted to multiply or divide a decimal by 100, I would move the decimal point 2 spaces over instead of just one because the number 100 had two 0’s after the one.This rule will not work with numbers like 20, or 150, because they are not multiples of 10 like the other numbers. Numbers that will work are 10, 100, 1000, 10000, 100000 and so on.

Sorry this is so long, I just wanted to make sure you understand because I had trouble with it when I was learning it.

Answer:

4

Step-by-step explanation:

From first piece -6 < x ≤ 0.

From second piece 0 < x ≤ 4.

Therefore -6 < x ≤ 4 → x ∈ (-6, 4]

-7 ∉ (-6, 4]

-6 ∉ (-6, 4]

4 ∈ (-6, 4]

5 ∉ (-6, 4]

Mark has some trading cards. When he sorts them by 2s 3s 4s and 5s, he has 1 left over each time. Mark has fewer than 100 cards. How many cards does he have

Answers

the answer is 61. i knew it had to be an odd number because 1 was left over when divided by 2. i knew that the last number was 1 because of the 5. then by starting at 20 i went up by 10s to get my answer

or

take 3×4×5 = 60. i dont use the 2 because if divisible by 4 then it is also divisible by 2. then add 1 to get 61.
I am not completly sure, but i belive he has 15 cards but it depands on how many times he does it. Hope you can fugure it out with me help.
