Exercise provides a healthy outlet for feelings, which helps improve __________.

Answers

Answer:

mental health

Explanation:

Final answer:

Exercise improves mental health by providing a healthy outlet for feelings, reducingstress and its adverse physiological effects, and promoting resistance to stress.

Explanation:

Exercise is a powerful tool in stress management and increasing overall mental health. It provides a healthy outlet for feelings, reducing stress and improving overall mood. Aerobic and anaerobic exercise is associated with better physical and mental health and increases resistance to stress (Everly & Lating, 2002; Salmon, 2001). Physically fit individuals recover faster from stress and are less susceptible to its adverse effects (Cotton, 1990). Exercise also appears to mitigate some harmful physiological responses to stress, like hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal reactivity, and prevent age-related changes like telomere shortening (Campeau et al., 2010; Puterman et al., 2010). Therefore, regular physical activity is crucial for improving emotional health and managing stress.

Mainly because they are not only found in in people with low mental capabilities but also in people who have above average mental capabilities, another fact is in some cases people should receive assistance. My last reason is that Mental Disorders are VERY real and should not be disregarded as unimportant.
