How you be a very good maths improver

Answers

In order to improve in your math skills you have to study.
I know from experience.
You can get a tutor like I did. Some help some dont so choose wisely.
You should print out worksheets from online, if you dont have a printer just copy the question onto a piece of paper.
STUDY!
Everyday when you come home from school, review what you have done during math class so if you forgot some of it you refresh your mind. Do the same thing before you go to sleep.
Hope I helped!
Study by finding online games and printing out worksheets. Ask your parents or guardian to quiz you and MAKE FLASHCARDS! It helps so much. When you have a spare 5 minutes pull them out and study. Take extra notes in class than your teacher wants you to and rewrite them and highlight them. Find workbooks around your house. Ask your parents/guardian to make a math test for you or just print one out. Don't stress yourself with math, take a 10 minute break before doing more every 30 minutes. I used to HATE MATH but now it's ok because I do these things. MATH IS FUN!!!!

A cat spends about 7 out of 10 hours sleeping.about what percent of cat's day is spent sleeping

Answers

The percentage of a cat's day spent sleeping is  70% if the cat spends about 7 out of 10 hours sleeping.

What is the percentage?

It's the ratio of two integers stated as a fraction of a hundred parts. It is a metric for comparing two sets of data, and it is expressed as a percentage using the percent symbol.

It is given that:

A cat spends about 7 out of 10 hours sleeping.

As we know, from the definition of the percentage, the ratio of two integers is stated as a fraction of a hundred parts. It is a metric for comparing two sets of data,

The percentage of a cat's day spent sleeping = (7/10)x100

The percentage of a cat's day spent sleeping = (0.7)x100

The percentage of a cat's day spent sleeping = 70%

Thus, the percentage of a cat's day spent sleeping is  70% if the cat spends about 7 out of 10 hours sleeping.

Help how would you find out the answer to the following question- Janice has three coins in her pocket and they are all different from each other. Jeremy has three coins in his pocket and they are all the same as each other. Jeremy has twice as much money as janice. What are the coins they each have?

Answers

Rebecca has a 50 pence coin, a 20 pence coin, and a 5 pence coin.
Jeremy has three 50 pence coins.

Final answer:

To answer the problem, the coins of Janice must be a penny, dime, and a nickel which total up to $0.16, while Jeremy's coins are three dimes and two pennies totaling $0.32

Explanation:

The problem can be approached by considering the different coins you have available and their values. In the U.S, these are penny ($0.01), nickel ($0.05), dime ($0.10), quarter ($0.25), half dollar ($0.50), and dollar ($1.00). Because Jeremy's coins are all the same and twice Jane's total, this limits us to lower value coins.

Let's start with Jane. She can't have a quarter because Jeremy doesn’t have $0.50 coins. If she had a dime, Jeremy would need two dimes but we know all his coins are the same so this isn't possible. This means Jane must have a penny ($0.01), a nickel ($0.05) and a dime ($0.10) for a total of $0.16. Therefore, Jeremy, whose total is twice Jane's, must have $0.32 which can be achieved by having three dimes ($0.10 x 3 = $0.30) and two pennies ($0.01 x 2 = $0.02).

One case can hold 3 boxes. Each box can hold 3 binders. How man cases are needed to hold 126 binders?

Answers

14 because 126 ÷3=42 and 42÷3 =14

14 because if 1 case held 3 boxes and 3 boxes held 3 Binders, that means u would have to divide 3 by 126 which equals 42 and u would have to divide that by 3 which equals 14.
