83 less than a number n

Answers

Answer 1
Answer: The answer could be anything. If there is no number for n, then you probably need to make one up. For example, 83 less than 123 is 40. So, if it did give you a number, comment it and I will help you further. Hope this helps. :)

So I am doing geometry in my math class, and I can't figure how how to do some of the problems.We have angles and you have to find the degree of each one. I have an acute angle that is 38 degrees, then I have 2 more acute angles, a right angle, and an obtuse angle. I am trying to find the degree of the obtuse angle. HELP! Answers

ok, so in the problem there are 5 angles given but you really only need to focus on <KNL and <MNL. these two angles are a linear pair, or supplementary, which means that they add up to 180˚. so, if <KNL is 38˚, then <MNL is 142˚. 180-38=142

That is a scalene because none of the sides are congruent, and it is an acute triangle because all angles are acute.

Solve the equation 4 1/5+b= 9 3/5 b=---

and if you could work it out and show me that would help a lot.

Answers

4 1/5 + b = 9 3/5

4 1/5 - 4 1/5 + b = 9 3/5 - 4 1/5
(taking the same amount from each side to keep it balanced)

0 + b = 5 2/5
(subtracting 4 1/5 from each side)

b = 5 2/5
4 1/5+b=9 3/5
convert to improper fraction
21/5+b=48/5
since they both have the same denominators,you can subtract the numerators
   b= 48/5-21/5
   b=27/5= 5 2/5

hope this helps
