From a distance, they both look like seals, but once you get up close you can actually see the difference. Seals and sea lions are both fish-loving mammals. Moreover, handy flippers propel them both through the water. But while seals have a tiny opening on the side of their heads, sea lions have actual earflaps. Furthermore, sea lions use their back flippers like feet to scoot along the beach. On the other hand, seals must wriggle and roll to get ahead. On the whole, when you visit a zoo or theme park, it's the honking, barking, funny sea lion you're likely to find playing to the crowds for fishy treats, earflaps and all.In the passage about seals and sea lions, which transition is used to show a contrast? (5 points)

But
Furthermore
On the whole
Moreover

Answers

Answer:

But

Explanation:

Furthermore is used to continue the contrast of the sea lion. On the whole is used more as a somewhat closing piece for the entire piece, and moreover is used actually to compare rather than contrast. I hope this helps.

Explanation:

1st paragraph. My name is Rin. And I'm a rabbit. I have powerful hind legs that help me to run from any danger. But not all danger. This is my story. This is what happened to me and scarred me for life... I was born in a small meadow, east of the big oak tree where all the elder rabbits huddled for meetings. We respected them and called them the "Longlings". The Longlings were there own sacred tribe that took care of all of us normal bunnies. We lived peacefully and in harmony until one day, a kind, strong, brave bunny appeared at our door. Until that momment, we had not known he was evil. We only loved his appearance. We never looked underneath that muscle and brawn. We really should have. His name was BOMB.

...

(You can continue the story and write about how Brawn hurt the tribe and led them to their doom etc etc... The theme is don't judge appearances but look underneath a person/bunny>) :)

Please help, i will mark your answer as brainlyiest if you do good TwT The Tell-Tale Heart By Edgar Allen Poe Claim: The storyteller believes that he is not crazy although he is. From the beginning, the narrator was attempting to convince the reader that he was not crazy although he was bothered over his neighbor's eye. The pace of the story-line began from the narrator admitting how he had a bad feeling whenever the old man's vulture eye looked at the narrator but didn't think that the narrator was crazy over it. Soon enough throughout the story the narrator was driven crazy over the vulture looking eye from the old man and decided to kill the old man. Although from the reader's perspective it seems to look like the narrator was crazy, the narrator did not think so. The narrator had planned very meticulously over the thought of killing to the old man and acted out on it. Once the deed was done, the police came by to check because a neighbor reported suspicious activity by the old man's home. The narrator let the police in the house search it and the narrator had explained how the old man was gone to visit a friend out in the country and the police believed him. But the narrator's guilt got to him and put him on edge. He behaved more and more suspicious and finally let a cry out of admitting to killing the man because the narrator thought the policemen were on to him. The way that the mood affected me was that the narrator had begun to admit that he was a normal person, perfectly fine. But once the narrator put out the exposition it started to give out the expression that he was crazy and him denying that he wasn't crazy made the narrator even more suspicious. To conclude my claim, I see that narrator is genuinely crazy and that even though he convinced his own self and attempted to prove the reader he wasn't crazy, in the end, he was.
