Which word creates the most unpleasant mood ? Uncanny , weird, strange ,eerie

Answers

Answer 1
Answer:

The most unpleasant word from the given following would be "eerie". Therefore, option (d) or (iv) is the correct unpleasant word.

What is an unpleasant word?

Uncanny is defined as bizarre or unexpected in a surprising or challenging way. Weird is defined as peculiar or strange. Strange refers to something that is out of the ordinary, normal or anticipated. Eerie is defined as weird.

They are all related, as you can see. similar definitions, in a way. One of them, though, exudes a more "unpleasant vibe." Either Uncanny or Eerie comes to mind.

However, eerie would make more sense because it is weird and enigmatic in contrast to the others. Therefore, the answer is "eerie" because eerie refers to frightening, or perhaps paranormal.

When you characterize something as eerie, you're describing how unusual and unsettling it seems and how it makes you uneasy.

Answer 2
Answer: Heeyo. c:

Uncanny means: strange or unusual in a way that is surprising or difficult to understand

Weird means, : unusual or strange

Strange means:  different from what is usual, normal, or expected

Eerie means: : strange and mysterious

So as you can see, they're all connected. Same definitions sort of. But one of them gives off a more  "
unpleasant mood". I would go with, Uncanny or Eerie.

Eerie would make more sense though becasue it's strange and mysterious, unlike the others.

Hope this helps. :)

A. The story with the most first-place votes was mine. <--This is the correct answer.
All other possessive personal pronouns are not in their proper form. Instead of theirs, yours, and its, the sentences used their's, your's, and it's. Only letter A has the correct form of the possessive pronoun--mine.

School helps you learn and get educated....
I'll give you a list and you can format it to your taste:

7 periods, 8 if you're counting Advisory (depends where you live)
45 minutes a period
Core classes: Math, Science, English, Reading, Social Studies (this depends what grade you're in; I have Algebra, Science, English, and History, no Reading)
4 minutes between periods, 7 before advisory (again depends where you live)
Lunch after 6th period (depends where you live AND what grade you're in)
There are several different teachers for each subject because there's a lot of students
You're classmates are chosen at random depending on their level (I don't want to go into too much detail; basically, there's Academic, Pre-AP, and GT, from lowest to highest, Academic has different classes than the other two and if you're in GT, you don't need to take Reading in 7th grade)
You're classmates in Advisory have similar last names with you because they're alphabetized through the whole school and a teacher is assigned a group (ex: Le, Li, Lombard, Loper, Lopez, Liu, Lu, Mo, Monett; that's some students from my advisory)

That's should be enough, but I'm sorry if you're confused XD

Answer: C) Hasty generalization.

Explanation: Hasty generalization is a logical fallacy that consists in drawing a conclusion based on a small sample size, rather than looking at statistics that are much more in line with the typical or average situation. The given statement is a clear examples of hasty generalization, because the person is basing his/her opinion (that all babysitters are mean) in the fact that his/her babysitter is cranky all the time.
