Hi, let's x le number of women 3x is the number of men x/2 the number of childs Thus, 3x+x+x/2=5670 =>9x/2=5670 =>x=5670*2/9 =>x=1260: number of women 3x=3*1260=3780 the number of men.
I can't figure out how to do -5+x/3=-11
Answers
add 5 to both sides 5-5+x/3=5-11 0+x/3=-6 x/3=-6 times both sides by 3 3x/3=-18 x=-18
Can someone please help me with #10. i need the one with solution. thanks!

Problem 10 One foot is equal to 0.333 yards, so convert the feet to yards. One inch is equal to 0.0278 yards. (36 feet × 0.333 = 12) 36 feet = 12 yards (24 feet × 0.333 = 8) 24 feet = 8 yards (9 inches × 0.0278 = 0.25) 9 inches = 0.25 yards Now, multiply it all together (L × W × H). 12 × 8 × 0.25 = 24 yards Then multiply the number of cubic yards. 24 × 55= $1320 The answer is $1320
The reason this problem is so sneaky is that it has a lot of different units in it, and you have to keep them all straight.
Volume of concrete for the patio = (length) x (width) x (height).
You know all of these dimensions, but be careful. Before you multiply them, they must all be in the same units.
Length = 36 ft Width = 24 ft Height = 9 inches = 3/4 of a ft (0.75 ft).
NOW you can multiply to get the volume.
Volume = (36 ft) x (24 ft) x (0.75 ft) .
The result is the volume in ft³ (cubic feet).
Now you need to figure out how much this will cost, but you run into another problem . . . you know how much each yd³ costs, but you only have the volume in ft³. You have to change the ft³ into yd³ .
Here's the tool you need to do that: 1 yd³ = 27 ft³
The rest is just arithmetic. I know you can handle it from this point.

Three numbers greater than 20 that have 9 as a factor are 27, 36, 45~
It is 27, 36 and 45.
I did it in my Go Math!!

Which angle is between NM and PN? hellp
Answers
The angle that is between the segments NM and PN is the angle that their segments form. If we take away the side PM (in our heads), we can see that the angle formed is angle N, or angle PNM.
