Answer 1
Answer:

There is a system in the United States Constitution, which was made particularly to control the amount of power each branch of government has. This system is called Checks and Balances and it is very important to our government. Without a system to prevent one branch of government from having more power over another, the government would be controlled by one group of people. It would not be fair to the people of the United States if one branch had more power over another. This system is intended to prevent tyranny.

The three branched of government are; the legislative e branch, the executive branch, and the judicial branch. The legislative branch is run by congress, which includes the House of Representatives and the Senate. The main responsibility of the legislative branch is to make laws. The executive branch is run by the President of the United States. The president enforces laws and presents new ones, is in control of the Armed Forces, and has vetoing power. The judicial branch is run by the Supreme Court. The power the judicial branch has is to analyze the Constitution and reviewing laws

Answer 2
Answer:

Here you go!

The U.S. government has three different branches of the government, there is Legislative, Judicial, and Executive. Each of these branches of government has a job that creates a peaceful, organised, and productive society. So that each one does not have to much power there is a system called checks and balances to keep everything under control.

The Legislative is made up of the House Representatives and the Senate. The House of Representatives shares the responsibility for lawmaking equally with the U.S. Senate. The House was made to represent popular will and the members were to be elected directly by the people. Differently, members of the senate were appointed by the states until the Seventeenth Amendment mandated direct election of senators. Every state has at least one member of the House of Representatives. The house members each get two year terms. The requirements for eligibility are at least 25 years, and one must have a citizenship for at least seven years.

The Judicial branch of the government is the system of federal courts and judges that interprets laws made by the legislative branch, and is enforced by the executive branch. At the top of the judicial branch are nine justices of the Supreme Court, the highest court in the United States. The federal court is just below the supreme court, this court decides if cases should go to the supreme court.

The executive branch is one of the three primary parts of the United States government. This branch is responsible for carrying out and executing the nation's laws. The president of the United States is the chief of the executive branch, this also includes the vice president and the rest of the president’s cabinet. There are also fifteen executive departments and numerous federal agencies, boards, commissions and committees.

The system of checks and balances was developed to make sure not one branch of the government could have too much power. The framers of the U.S. Constitution made a system that divides the power between the three branches of the U.S. government-legislative, judicial and executive. Which all have a different job in controlling the government.

The three branches of the U.S. government creates a peaceful organised and productive society. All of these branches have the Checks and balances system in place, making no branch have to much power.

Thanks are are much appreciated and brainliest would be great!

True or False .... I put False

Answers

I would say that this is definitely false:

People spent around 8 hours sleeping every day, that is one third of their day.
This means that they would also spend one third of their life sleeping.

Since sleeping is usually done indoors, this means that at least 30% or 40% of people's time is spent indoors - but potentially more.

What does Long want to do with people who own more than $50 million in wealth?

Answers

Huey Long, a former governor of Louisiana and U.S. Senator in the 1930s, proposed a policy known as the "Share Our Wealth" program.

Under this program, Long advocated for the redistribution of wealth in the United States, with the goal of providing a more equal distribution of resources and opportunities for all Americans.

What informs this policy?

As part of his "Share Our Wealth" program, Long proposed a progressive tax system that would heavily tax the wealthiest Americans, including those who owned more than $50 million in wealth. Long argued that this would help to reduce economic inequality and provide resources for social programs such as education, healthcare, and public infrastructure.

In addition to the tax system, Long also proposed a number of other measures, such as a guaranteed minimum income for all Americans and increased government investment in public works projects to create jobs and stimulate economic growth.

While Long's proposals were controversial and faced opposition from many wealthy Americans and political opponents, they resonated with many Americans who were struggling during the Great Depression and who saw Long as a champion of their economic interests.

I am pretty sure the answer is Sudras
I am not actually sure it could be C or D. Shudras were laborers. Vaishyas were farmers, traders and merchants. However they were in the article iI read it did not state whether or not if there were poor farmers or menial laborers. But from all that I read I would probably pick  C.

An important duty of the president is appointing senators.
addressing Congress.
negotiating treaties.
funding the military

Answers

The correct answer is negotiating treaties.

The president doesn't fund the military while addressing the congress is not that big of a deal and for many presidents it doesn't mean anything. Senators are chosen by the people not by the president. The president negotiates treaties that have to be ratified by the congress.

Addressing Congress is one of the most important duties of the President.

Further Explanation:

The President acts as the chief of the Federal government and he is the one who looks over all the executive agencies and also acts as the chief of security forces of the United States. The powers provided to the President of the United States are mentioned in Article 2 of the constitution. The President serves for four years during his presidential term and can be elected for two terms along with the Vice President and only these two are the ones who are nationally elected in the federal government by the people of the country.

Address to congress is also one of the major duties of the President and he is expected to do this at least once a year where he has to report to the State of the Union. The President does not have powers to enact laws but he can take an indirect role in shaping the new legislation. During his address to the Congress, The President can submit his blueprint or address key issues that he will be looking on in the coming year.
