Answer 1
Answer:

Personally I believe the dress code is a majorly wrong policie every time they talk about it; it revolves solely around women for the majority of the time or it's only reinforced towards women. In my gym class when we would be outside and it was over 90 degrees my teacher would allow guys to take their gym shirts off and be shirtless but wouldn't allow girls to take their gym shirts off and be in a sports bra if that's the case no one should be able to take their shirts off if there to hot. They will dresscode you for having your underwear peek above your pants slightly if you bend over but allow guys to walk around with their shorts higher than their underwear but it's okay because it's “different” because it's on a guy and not “revealing”. Growing up with these schools dress codes have honestly just told women to cover up because were distracting the boys what about us tho? Sending us down to the office giving detentions because our bra is showing or were wearing a tank top making us leave class and lose time in class learning to change or get in trouble while the boys who are being "distracted" by us are in class learning why not just teach boys self control when they see a bra strap? it's just overall a very flawed and honestly wrong system. It makes a lot of women and girls feel as if they were seen as objects and that's why I think schools should reconsider the way they do their dress code.

hope this helps or gives you an idea on what to write about :)

Answers

The Glorious Revolution was the overthrowing of James II of England in 1688 by William of Orange, a Dutch man, and his Parliamentarian followers. The catalyst for the revolution was the birth of James’ son, who disrupted the line of succession and meant that there was the potential for a new Catholic dynasty, which the Protestant country did not want.

How does "a circle bitten out by the teeth of winter" show personification?

Answers

It shows personification because it is implying that winter has teeth, and winter is biting, this is giving winter human-like characteristics, so therefore it is personification.

I hope I helped :)
Personification is when we give characteristics of people to inanimate things. In this case, Winter is inanimate (I mean it's not a person not a person). So when we say that Winter is "biting" something out, we see that as personification because Winter (a season) can't really literally bite things like we would bite a sandwich.

Both Greta and Fred were on the bus that arrived in Pittsburgh. Fred was glad to be home. He looked forward to visiting with old friends. Greta, on the other hand, dreaded seeing her old boyfriend. She already missed her days in New York City.1.   What can you most safely infer from the paragraph?

       A. Fred once lived in Pittsburgh.   B. Fred is a friendly person.   C. Greta hates her old boyfriend.   D. Fred and Greta are friends.

Answers

Answer:

A. Fred once lived in Pittsburgh

Explanation:

When both Fred and Greta arrived in Pittsburgh, both had differing reactions to that place. Fred being happy to be there shows that he used to live there before he moved to another city and being back, he'll visit old friends. Greta, on the other hand, is rather reluctant to be there. She dreads it. the paragraph shows that Fred once lived there in Pittsburgh, for it is only possible to have old friends where one used to live. No one can have old friends if he/she hadn't lived there before.

A. Fred once lived in Pittsburgh. Because it said he was glad to be home. Also it said he was going to vist old friends, and he would only have old friends if he used to live there.

In what stage of the writing process does the author check for spelling and grammar errors?

Answers

There are many stages in the writing process. When you edit, you want to check for style and conventions. In other words, you check for spelling and grammar errors. Another stage is revising, which would look more at changing areas of your essay, your voice, or your word choice. After you do your initial editing and revising, you will want to proofread to make sure you didn't miss anything before you finish the writing process.

During proof-reading
