What term do historians use when they discuss the relationship between two events in which one is the direct result of another?

Answers

The term historians use when they discuss the relationship between two events in which one is the direct result of another is causation.

Historians may employ the concept of causation in a wide range of ways, each of which is linked with different historiographical claims and different kinds of argumentation.

Through this application, it will be clear that historical narratives are  causal, and that micro-history can be seen as a response to a very specific (causal) problem of Braudelian macro-history.

Answer:

It would have been really difficult- we'd have to go waay back in time, and/or change his life. Jews were discriminated back in the middle ages, so they were already unpopular amongst europeans. Hitler was not all that bad in his younger ages- he had good grades, enjoyed drawing, loved his mother and brother, etc. After his brother died, however, he started to change- and that was just the beginning. If Germany didn't lose WWI or WWI wasn't a thing, Hitler most likely won't be who he became known through history. Hitler was a soldier, fighting for Germany during WWI, but was discharged after an accident in the battlefield involving a gas bomb. He was angry about germany's loss and using his amazing and intimidating speaking skills to rise to power. He blamed the Jews and Communists for Germnay's loss and debt. He put more hate on the people that were already hated- he just used them as a scapegoat, but he really did hate them. In summary, if the conflict that started WWI didn't happen, nothing involving Hitler would have happened. Although, if Hitler's parents weren't alive, or hadn't met, Hitler wouldn't even exist- but that's a bit too much. He can't change history, and if Hitler hadn't done what he had done, who knows what our lives would be like now!
