75/100

(3)/(4)

(75)/(100) simplified is (3)/(4) because we can see that the greatest common divisor for both the numerator and the denomenator, is 25.

75 ÷ 25 = 3
100 ÷ 25 = 4

thus leaving us with (3)/(4)
75/100 would be 1/4 because 4 in 1/4 is how many times you multiply ? to get 100

                    so 4*?=100
25 times 4 equals 100 so now what times 4 equals 75

                    so 25*?=75
25 times 3 is 75 so if that is true then your answer is 3/4-3 out of 4

A basketball player makes 75% of her free throws. If she made 84 free throws this season, how many has she attempted?

Answers

If you would like to know how many free throws did a basketball player attempted, you can calculate this using the following steps:

75% of x is 84
75% * x = 84
75/100 * x = 84
x = 84 * 100 / 75
x = 112 free throws

The correct result would be 112 free throws.

i need help on here how to solve it

Professor Dan Healy, one of my Engineering instructors back in prehistoric times,  had a favorite way of showing us how to do this kind of problem ... I mean the kind that's incredibly easy, but your own fear gets in the way and convinces you that you can't handle it.  Here is Prof. Healy's method.

For a few moments, call the square root of 5 by the name "cow".

cow - x = 4 .    Solve this equation for 'x' :

Add 'x' to each side of the equation:  cow = 4 + x

Subtract 4 from each side:                cow - 4 = x

Now, we can put the real value back in place of 'cow' :  √5 - 4 = x

That right there is a perfect solution.  But If you absolutely need to
know the number, then grab your calculator:

√5 = 2.2361 (rounded)

x = √5 - 4 = 2.2361 - 4 = -1.7639 (rounded)

\sqrt5-x=4\n x=\sqrt5-4

Write .06 as a fraction in simplest form

Answers

we'llwrite decimal without decimal point in top of fraction. then write the smallest place value in bottom.
.06 is same as 6 without decimal point. And smallest place value is hundredth's (second place to right of decimal point),

so .06 = 6/100

now reduce (divide top & bottom by 2 to get)

3/50

hope that helps.

Calculate the difference (home-away) in winning percentage. A) Need more information B) Positive C) Negative D) Zero

Answers

To calculate the difference in winning percentage (home - away), we do need more information. We would need the winning percentages for both home games and away games to determine whether the difference is positive, negative, or zero.

So, the correct answer is A) Need more information.
