Answer:

Answer:

Renewable Resources- are able to be replenished, include land and sunlight, include wind and water.

Non-renewable Resources- are not able to be replenished, include fossil fuels, include certain minerals.

Explanation:

Resources are those elements or things that are found in the earth and are important for the sustenance and survival of human beings and other living things on the planet. And these natural resources can be classed into two groups, renewable and non-renewable resources.

Renewable resources, like the name signifies, are those resources that can be renewed or remade even after continuous use. Such things include wind, sunlight, land, water, etc. They can be replenished and thus, have no limit to be exhausted.

On the other hand, non-renewable resources are those that cannot be replenished or renewed once their capacity is reached. They are limited and thus, have to be used sparingly and in good or careful consideration when used. Such resources are fossil fuels, certain minerals, such resources take years and years to be even made, thus making them scarce and needed to be conserved when used.

Explanation:

Final answer:

“Conservation as a National Duty” by Theodore Roosevelt is considered a primary source because it is a speech by a historical figure, providing firsthand evidence about the subject.

Explanation:

“Conservation as a National Duty” by Theodore Roosevelt is a primary source because it is a speech delivered by a historical figure. Primary sources are original, firsthand documents that are not interpretive but provide direct evidence about the topic at hand. Examples of primary sources include diaries, speeches, government documents, and articles written during the time period being studied, like Roosevelt's own accounts in Scribner's magazine. Unlike secondary sources, which interpret or analyze primary sources, a speech by a former president such as Roosevelt commenting on a political issue is a firsthand account representing his view and thus serves as a primary document of its time. The historical context and the authorship of the source, particularly by someone involved in the event, support its classification as a primary source.

Why did the U.S. have the least amount of casualties?

Answers

The US Army didn't participate in the Western Front until October 1917 when they fired their first shell at the German lines. The 4 American divisions involved did very little in those battles. It wouldn't be until May 1918 that the US would take on its actual first offensive. During the next 5 and a half months the US would sustain 254,000 casualties (dead and wounded). If we extrapolate that out to the entire war thats 2.2 million, about the same as the UK.

That's despite being able to learn from their Allies; the UK and France.

But that's unfair to the US as well. Starting in May of 1918 it played a key role; perpetual offense. American troops were well trained and poorly led. They made the same disastrous mistakes that the other forces did, but their learning curve was steeper.

i hope its right ;)
