Answer: The statement that is an example of a compound sentence is C. I'm trying to learn Spanish, and my friend's trying to learn French.
Explanation: A compound sentence is a sentence made up of two or more independent clauses that are joined by means of a coordinating conjunction or a semicolon. An independent clause is a clause that expresses a complete thought; therefore, it can stand alone as a sentence. C. is an example of a compound sentence because it includes two independent clauses ("I'm trying to learn Spanish" and "My friend's trying to learn French"). Moreover, both clauses have been joined by means of the coordinating conjunction "and".
God sent in fiery or copper-colored serpents to punish them. They went to Moses and confessed after a few of the people were bitten and died. They admitted to complaining about God and themselves.
They requested Moses to pray to God to have the snakes removed from the camp. Instead, God instructed Moses to create a bronze serpent, mount it on a pole, and erect it in the center of the camp.
Additionally, he instructed Moses to inform the populace that anyone bitten should point their gaze toward the centre of the camp in order to see the brass serpent. If they did this, they would live.
The bronze snake symbolizes Christ's deliverance from sin. The narrative of the bronze snake in Numbers 21, which describes the Israelites' lack of faith, punishment, and recovery, does not stand alone in biblical history. Jesus made a reference to this narrative.
Thus, God sent in fiery or copper-colored serpents to punish them.

"In this assignment, you'll share in the graphic organizer identifying your opinion, evidence, and reasoning. Remember, you need EVIDENCE from outside sources, not just your opinion, to complete this."
I really cant think of any good topics.
Answer and Explanation:
There are many things you can talk about for your persuasive essay.
Personally, I like to discuss events that are relevant in our lives. For example, take this pandemic. You could talk about whether or not you think your school/community has been handling classes and assignments during this difficult time well. Or, you could talk about why people should combat climate change (given that so few efforts have been made), the impact (positive or negative) of social media and the Internet, handwriting vs. typing, etc. (I don't know; just throwing some ideas out there)
Or, you could talk about the most trivial topics. For instance, perhaps you could write about why dogs are better pets than cats (or vice versa) or that video games can actually be educational and not all that harmful like many people think.
Hope this helps, and good luck on your essay!
