Lulu has two baskets of apples, in the first one she has 43.50 kg and in the second one she has 25 kg more than in the first one. If the sale price is $ 7.45 per kg, how much money can you earn if you sell the baskets?

Answers

Answer 1
Answer:

Answer:

$834.40

Step-by-step explanation:

Find how many kg Lulu has total by adding 43.50 and 43.50+25 together.

You get 112 kg, and then multiply that by the price per kg, so 112 * 7.45 is 834.40.

How many inches are in 5 1/2 yards

Answers

How many inches are in 5(1)/(2) yards?
There are 3 feet in a yard
There are 12 inches in a foot
5 (1)/(2) = (11)/(2)
You must multiply (11)/(2) yards by feet
(11)/(2)×(3)/(1)=(33)/(2)
You must multiply (33)/(2) by inches per foot
(33)/(2)×(12)/(1)=(396)/(2)
You must divide the numerator(top) by the denominator(bottom) to simplify
396÷2=198
There are 198 inches in 5 (1)/(2) yards

As it stands, it's none of those. I believe you were going for the distance formula but copied it wrong.

From the picture, you can see that in order to go all the way around,
she'll need  4-2/3 yards  twice, and  6-3/4 yards  twice.

That's called the 'perimeter' of the rectangle.  It's always (2 lengths) + (2 widths).

I just gave you the addition problem.  Add up the mixed numbers, and see
whether the perimeter is more or less than  22 .

If I were to solve this, I would take the 4 2/3 times itself and 6 2/3 times itself. When you get the mixed numbers, add them together and see if the number is less than 22 yards. If it is, you have the right answer.

The test scores for a group of students are shown. 87, 72, 98, 84, 72, 65, 72, 70, 58, 91, 81, 84
What is the mode of the scores?
A.
84
B.
78.8
C.
98
D.
85.5

Answers

Mode is the number that occurs most often. Out of those numbers, 72 would be the mode. But since that's not an option, I would say 84.
the mode is 72 because 72 appears three times  and the others are shown twice but 72 isn't an answer and the only other one with the most often is 84 which appears twice so the answer would be A

a bottle contains 20 fluid ounces of lotion and sells for $5.80. The 20-fluid-ounce bottle contains 125% of the lotion in the next smallest size, which sells for $5.12. Which is the better buy? Explain

Answers

here is a way to solve wihtout knowning the volume of the smaller bottle (which is 16oz, btw)

if 5.8 is 125% of the volume of the other one
find what it would cost for 100%
5.8=125% of volume
1.16=25% of volume
4.64

that contains the sameamount as theother one

4.64<5.12

the 20 oz bottle is the better buy

don't believe me?

20=125% of other
4=25% of other
16=100% of other

let's find the cost per ounce of lotion
5.8/20?5.12/16 where ? represents a relation symbol (=,> <)
0.29?0.32
0.29<0.32

20 oz bottle is the better buy
the 20 fluid ounce because you get more for .78 cents more
