Why did the people of France give Napoleon a 2nd chance after his exile?

Answers

Answer: "If any of you wants to shoot your emperor, do it now!"

Explanation:

After the Battle of Leipzig, considered by some historians to be the bloodiest to date, Napoleon had to abdicate. He was moved to Elba Island, and it was his prison.Napoleon was a warrior, a strategist, and had no peace. He wanted to try one more time on the battlefield. In February 1815, he succeeded in escaping and acquiring the territory of France.

King Louis XVIII learned of his escape and sent troops who soon arrested him. After his arrest, Napoleon shouted at the soldiers. "Do you recognize your emperor, if anyone wants to shoot him, do so immediately." The soldiers shouted with delight, "Long live the Emperor!"After that, they return to Paris, where, with military support, they re-establish their power. Describe the positive and negative effects of globalization in the modern world in two of the following areas: • politics • economics • culture

Answers

Advantages and disadvantages of globalization in economics and culture.

Economics.

Globalization in economics had served to improve trade among countries. Free trade has been a consequence of globalization as we can see in cases such as the North American Free Trade Agreement between the United States, Mexico, and Canada (NAFTA). There are some disadvantages in this such as many local jobs were taken out to other countries due to cheaper labor. That is why NAFTA has been renegotCultiriated and now it is called USMCA, the United States, Mexico, and Canada Agreement.

Culture.

Global influence has allowed the exportation of cultural contents to other countries that were never before considered in the West or in the East. Literature, art, mass media, among others. These elements have allowed people from the other extreme of the world to be informed on current issues in other countries. The disadvantage of this is that cultural globalization has produced a loss of identity in many countries that are "Americanizing" their languages, losing their customs, culture, and tradition in favor of Western ideologies.

Positive and negative effects of globalization Globalization refers to the overall development as well as modernization of a community as a whole. The reason why globalization is important is because it helps a community in gaining international recognition, influence as well as operation.

Answers

The meeting of the Estates-General in 1789 was convened by King Louis XVI (B). It was an attempt to solve the financial crisis France was in.

In 1789 France was in crisis. Agriculture wasn’t doing well and the price of the bread soared. Poor people paid the largest part of taxes and practically sustained the aristocracy. The country was broke because of all the wars it had participated in the last years.

Due to the financial crisis, Louis XVI convened the Estates-General, a great assembly composed by the clergy (first estate), the aristocracy (second estate) and the ordinary people (third estate). Throughout the country, people met and registered in cahiers or register books their problems with the government that were to be taken to the main assembly.

The ordinary people, noticing they would lose any polling since they had one vote against two (first and second estates'), left the Estates-General and assembled in a tennis court nearby declaring themselves the National Assembly.

The refusal of the ordinary people to take part in a political event that would maintain that society was still divided in estates is an illustration of the transformation French Revolution was causing. From then on society was no longer organized and perceived as it were in medieval times. That was one of the beginnings of Modernity.
