Essay of history of nepal

Answers

Answer 1
Answer:    Nepal is a country that is found in South Asia, the country lies between China and India. There is a lot about Nepal that could be learned about such as geography,  the culture of the country, and of course the history. Here is the wonderful history of Nepal.

Nepal has the greatest altitude change in the world. Which means that the lowlands are low and the mountains are the tallest in the world. The best known hills are of course the Himalayas. The Himalayas were formed before all of us were born, by this I mean 10-15 million years ago. Also, eight of the world's highest mountain peaks are found in Nepal.

The majority of people in Nepal practice Hinduism although some people practice both Hinduism and Buddhism. Another important part of their culture is that they are divided into four different groups; The Hindu Caste, The Bhotes, The Hill Tribes, and The Newar. There are also multiple hill tribes such as The Sherpas who are born way up in the mountains. A lot of the Nepalese live in the central hilly region. The Ganges river is a River that floods this area making the land very fertile for crops.

The Buddha was born in 563 B.C. in Lumbini, a town fairly close to the Indian border. Nepal was a very powerful country in South Asia, although the British controlled them at the time which lead Nepal being forced into signing treaties to give land to Britain.

Most westerners know the mountain named as Mount Everest, which was in fact named after British Surveyor Sir George Everest. The locals of Nepal don't refer to the mountain as "Mount Everest" in fact, they refer to it as Chomolungma which translates to "Goddess Mother Of The World". Another fact about the mountain in Nepal is that many people have attempted to climb it but have failed.

Hope this helped!!

Answers

Any potentially harmful substance that humans add to an ecosystem is called pollution. Thus the correct option is A.

What is an ecosystem?

An ecosystem is a place where different types of livingthings coexist to create a sphere of life. Abiotic elements, or nonliving components, coexist with biotic components in ecosystems.

Pollution is caused by harmful substances that are released from the activities caused by humans. This harmful effect disturbs the balance of the ecosystem and appears results as hazardous.

There are different types of pollution that occur which include air pollution caused by smoke from industries and factories, water pollution caused by throwing garbage in water sources, and so on.

Therefore, option  A called pollution is appropriate.

Why did the Populists fear the influence of cities on politics?

Answers

Answer:

"The major influence of the People's Party (the Populists) is that it did a great deal to lead to the rise of the Progressives in the early 1900s. As an often-quoted line goes, populism

shaved its whiskers, washed its shirt, put on a derby, and moved up into the middle class

When it did this, it became Progressivism. The Progressive agenda was really based on the Populists' agenda, only with much less of an emphasis on farmers and rural people.

In the longer term, you could argue that the Populists' ideas have been very enduring. They have (you could argue) led to modern day politicians like Sarah Palin who believe in the idea of "common" or "regular" or "real" Americans fighting a battle against the elites."

Earth to sun is 92,960,000 miles. 5280 feet (1760) yards in one mile. 92.96 mil X 1760 = 163,600,000,000 yrds from earth to sun.

163,600,000,000/100 = 1,636,096,000.

So, 1,636,096,000 football fields can be fit in between the earth and sun

5280/3 = 1760

Trade between three contients or ports

Answers

Trade between three continents or ports is called triangular trade. There is often trade imbalance between the three ports or continents, because some of theses locations in the triangular trade rely more on imports or exports, and this usually takes place when one or more of these locations is lacking in a commodity and has to rely solely on import, while another relies quite a lot on export.
