Ghana’s transition to self rule was lead by Kwame Nkrumah, who had staged up non violent protest from their colonizers. French colonies were more emphatic compared to other European Colonizers. Napoleon III, to cite an example had stopped European migrations in Algeria in order to preserve its culture.
Answer:
Europeans who colonized Africa recognized their rule in Africa was coming to an end at the end of WWII and they had not prepared themselves for a transition. Although the African population had their own institutions of authority these were undermined by colonial governments thus making it impossible for these institutions to fully revert to prior operations. The idea of representative governments was still new as most African authorities were based on tribal and territorial structures of governance. The Europeans did not take their time to ensure equal representation was accorded to all the different groups within the communities. In some African countries, the Europeans left behind administrative vacuums while in others they rewarded some of their collaborators. This situation led to civil wars and war struggles between different groups in an attempt to secure power and authority for their own. This situation is still existent to date with a number of upheavals occurring through the years. The colonialists should have taken into account that in the different countries that they had established, Africans still had their own differences among themselves. Self-rule was to be considered not only at the national level but also at the group level and this could have been done through education and integration to ensure no group felt left out.

The right answer is Gulf of Tonkin incident. Johnson told a national television audience that on August 2 and 4, North Vietnamese vessels had attacked two U.S. destroyers, the Maddox and the C. Turner Joy, in the Gulf of Tonkin, off the coast of North Vietnam. Johnson described the attack, called the Gulf of Tonkin incident, as unprovoked. The Tonkin Gulf resolution authorized the president to take all necessary measures to repel any armed attack against the forces of the United States and to prevent further aggression. Only Senator Wayne Morse of Oregon and Senator Ernest Gruening of Alaska voted against the resolution, which Johnson thereafter interpreted as equivalent to a congressional declaration of war. Soon after his landslide victory over Goldwater in November 1964, Johnson, while still plagued by private doubts, made the crucial decisions that committed the United States to a full-scale war in Vietnam for the next four years.
Early Romantic music was influenced by the composer Ludwig van Beethoven.
Beethoven was a pivotal figure in the transition from the Classical period to the Romantic period of music. While he lived during the late Classical era, his compositions, especially his later works, foreshadowed the emotional and expressive characteristics that would become central to the Romantic musical style.
Beethoven's innovative use of harmony, expanded forms, and emotional depth paved the way for the Romantic composers who followed him. His music often conveyed intense emotions and a sense of individual expression, which became hallmarks of the Romantic era. Composers like Franz Schubert, Franz Liszt, and Hector Berlioz, among others, were directly influenced by Beethoven's works and contributed to the development of Early Romantic music.
