Answer 1
Answer: Hello, I would love to help you!
So with the topic of bullying you should start out with first defining what it is and the different ways that it occurs and/or can be interrupted. You can go over the different types that bullying is categorized in such as verbal, physical, cyber, etc.  Next you can cover the effects and consequences that bullying result in and how they impact the individuals being bullied and those bullying indivduals. Then lastly I would cover prevention and how to cope with bullying.

Hope this helps! If you have any other questions or would like further explanation just let me know!!! :)

Where should the parenthesis be placed? By the time he retired in 1991, he had won numerous all-star honors 12. By the time he retired in 1991, (he had won) numerous all-star honors 12. By the time (he retired) in 1991, he had won numerous all-star honors 12. By the time he retired in 1991, he had won numerous all-star honors (12). By the time he retired in 1991, he had won numerous (all-star honors 12).

Answers

The correct answer is D. By the time he retired in 1991, he had won numerous all-star honors (12)

Explanation:

Parentheses () is a punctuation mark mainly used to add information which usually clarifies some section of the sentence and works as an aside, which means the information that is added does not grammatically belong to the sentence but is somehow independent to it. Additionally to this, a parenthesis can include a word, number, a fragment or even multiple sentences that serve as a comment or clarification of the main sentence. Considering this in the case of the sentence "By the time he retired in 1991, he had won numerous all-star honors 12" the only information that serves as a clarification of the main sentence and does not belong to it grammatically is "12" that serves as a clarification of the number of all-star honours the man being described received, therefore number "12" should be in parentheses, which means the correct sentence is "By the time he retired in 1991, he had won numerous all-star honors (12)".

By the time he retired in 1991, he had won numerous all-star honors (12).

Which sentence contains correct capitalization? “This week,” Kamala’s music teacher said, “practice pages 45 and 46.” “This week,” Kamala’s music teacher said, “Practice pages 45 and 46.” “This week,” Kamala’s music Teacher said, “practice pages 45 and 46.”

Answers

The correct option is the first one “This week,” Kamala’s music teacher said, “practice pages 45 and 46.”

When including a direct quote in a text, it should be inside quotation marks. If it is the start of a complete sentence, it goes with capital letter as in "This week," but then if it is not from the beginning, the quotation is not capitalized  as in “practice pages 45 and 46.”

Option 2 is incorrect since the second part of the quotation is with capital letter.

Option 3 is also incorrect since the common noun "teacher" is capitalized when it shouln't.

"This week," Kamala's music teacher said, "Practice pages 45 and 46"

Answer:

C

Explanation:

There should either be a comma and since none of them have a comma it should be the semi-colon to separate the sentence sections.

Answer:

C

Explanation:

C seems to be the correct answer because it uses a semicolon in the correct place, while B and D each use a colon in the incorrect places, and without a comma. A seems to use no punctuation at all, which makes it a run-on sentence.
