Which BEST describes the result of the Mongol invasions of Korea between 1231-1273?

Explanation:

This seems to be a question that should have multiple choice answers posted but I will do my best to answer it regardless. Korea was successfully able to repel the different Mongol invasions that they experienced between 1231-1273 although ultimately what is today Korea (then called the Kingdom of Goryeo) was overcome and became a vassal state of the Mongol Yuan dynasty.
