B. the Baltic Sea shoreline rose to great heights causing damage to crops. C. the widespread death of sea life caused countrywide economic distress in Greenland. D. Europe's agricultural productivity increased due to increased rainfall

Answers

We know that the Baltic Sea froze over as did many bodies of water, like rivers for example did as well. The vikings ate cows, grew crops, fished in the seas and experienced famine yes but we read trade was blocked by drifting icebergs so I don't think that is right. Europe did have a period of agricultural productivity due to increased rainfall but that was during the Medieval Warming period and happened prior to Little Ice Age! The answer is A as we know Europe especially bore the brunt of this extreme cooling period we call the Little Ice Age. We know that famine and plague run rampant through Europe! (A: France was plagued with famine and medical epidemics is the CORRECT answer)

Choose the sentence that contains no comma errors.A) The book, that I borrowed from Elizabeth last week was excellent.
B) About four thousand years ago, Stonehenge, was a center of worship.
C) Alice Jones lived at 15, Cedar Street NE, Colorado Springs Colorado, 92158.
D) Athletic excellence requires a number of traits: perseverance, skill, aggression, and discipline.

Answers

The best way to tackle this question is to go through each answer and pointing out the errors.

"The book, that I borrowed from Elizabeth last week was excellent." The point of this sentence is to say that the book is excellent. The bit in the middle is just anecdotal and it should be removable in between two commas. Therefore, it should be "The book, that I borrowed from Elizabeth last week, was excellent."

"
About four thousand years ago, Stonehenge, was a center of worship." In this example, the opening is setting up the rest of the sentence. However, the extra comma is irrelevant. It should be "About four thousand years ago, Stonehenge was a center of worship."

"Athletic excellence requires a number of traits: perseverance, skill, aggression, and discipline." This one is a much simpler- yet subtler- mistake; there is no comma in a list just before the "and". It should be "Athletic excellence requires a number of traits: perseverance, skill, aggression and discipline."

That leaves C) as the correct answer.

Your answer should be C

I have to do an essay, roughly 4 pages long on Emily Dickinson, the question is " Emily Dickinson explores extreme states of mind in a style that is strikingly eccentric. Do you agree with this overview of Dickinson's poetry?" Please note that I only studied, I heard a fly buzz, a bird came down the walk, a taste of liquor never brewed, after a great pain comes a formal feeling and hope is a thing with feathers :) no copping from the internet please :)

Answers

I agree that her poetry was irregular and very different, which was the way she felt she had to write her poetry. Emily Dickinson believed that poetry is one of the most powerful mediums through which humans, given the availability, used to express themselves. She felt that bringing out her inner life was what poetry called her to do, and so she did it.

I hoped this helped a bit. I am not amazing at answering too much, but I believe this is sort of what you asked for.
