Why are frogs said to have two life's

Answers

Answer 1
Answer: Frogs are said to have two lives because when they hatch, they turn into little fish-like creatures known as pollywogsthat live underwater. This is considered their first life. Then, the pollywogs mature into tadpoles and start budding limbs. Finally, after a while in this stage, their arms and legs will become fully developed, making them frogs and they will leave the water to live the rest of their life without needing water as their primary environment. This is considered their second life.

What is the relationship between the salinity and density of ocean water?A decrease in salinity increases the density of seawater, altering the location of the halocline. As salinity increases, the mass of the water increases as it holds more salt particles per unit volume, making it more dense. An increase in salinity decreases the density of water above the halocline and increases the density of water below the halocline. As salinity decreases, the water becomes more massive as it holds fewer salt particles per unit volume, making it less dense.

Flowers are an important part of __________ reproduction in strawberry plants. A) abiotic B) asexual C) budding D) sexual

Answers

Answer:I had this question on usa test prep its b

Explanation:

Strawberry plants can reproduce several ways. A strawberry plant's main stem is called a crown. This crown produces spirals of leaves, runners, and flowers. The flowers become the strawberries that we love to eat. When days are long and warm, the plant produces runners. Runners are offshoots of the parent plant, sometimes called stolons. These runners are stems growing out from the crown along the ground. The runners grow roots and along the runner, "daughter plants" can develop. Most commercial strawberry growers use runners to produce new plants.

John is trying to identify how strong his lungs are. In order to do so he finds out his TV is 450 ml, IRV is 2.6 L, ERV is 900 mL. What is his vital capacity

Answers

Answer:

Vital capacity can be defined as the maximum volume of air a person can breathe in after a forced expiration. It is equivalent to the sum of expiratory reserve volume (ERV), tidal volume (TV) and inspiratory reserve volume (IRV).

  • Expiratory reserve volume (ERV): It refers to the volume of air a person can exhale by forcible expiration or air exhaled from the end-expiratory position.
  • Tidal volume (TV): It is a volume of air inhaled or exhaled during a normal respiration.
  • Inspiratory reserve volume (IRV): Maximum volume of air a person can inhale from the end-respiratory position.

Now, the vital capacity of John would be =  450 + 2600 + 900 ml

= 3950 ml or 3.95 L.
