Answer: I would say A, They were friends, but Brutus was also one of Caesar's biggest critics, however, i feel none of the answers quite fit the question. Brutus was a friend to Caesar, but because of jealousy and fear of how Caesar would act under the power of Rome, decided he would rather kill him than find out, this goes to show that Brutus, although a friend, was not a true friend and did not understand loyalty, like Mark Antony did for example.
