What is one reason the period from 1485 to 1625 is known as the Renaissance?

Answers

Hey there

The Renaissance was a rebirth of ancient Greek and Roman thinking and styles. Many great inventions were made like the printing press. The renaissance was in the period  1485 to 1625 .

One major reason the Renaissance began in Italy was because of its geography. The city-states of Italy, was in the Mediterranean Sea. It was the centers for trade.

Secondly,Italy was the former Roman empire. It was not under control of the other groups.

One reason the period from 1485 to 1625 is known as the Renaissance was that many inventions took place in that time. There were more improvements. They advanced farther in science etc..
First of all we need to remember why its called the Renaissance.
the word "Renaissance" is also borrowed in a way from the French word "rebirth" It was the time humans started questioning science. The love of Art and Education was a key feature to this time period.
Now that we have had our review lets dig deeper into one of the reasons why this time period was known as the Renaissance. My favorite example, was their wonders of Anatomy. Before people even knew that looking into the human body could benefit them medically, they used dissection to find out more ways to prolong suffering during execution. Yep! that's right they dissected a human being, but not any human beings, they were performed on criminals. Later on, they finally realized that they could use dissection for medical reasons, so by 1300's they were dissecting people to find out the reason for death. So you can imagine the questions by then...
Later in the fifteenth century, anatomists began to be employed as executioners... Things start to change because they realized how much they were learning from dissecting human beings. After this, Artists started accompanying anatomists during their dissection process. The artists believed that if they knew what the human body looked like on the inside then they could create better paintings of what the outside looked like.
But as for the criminals... the torture and pain was probably unbearable:(

Basic answer: Between 1485 to 1625 the questions with Anatomy become HOT! Dissection became a normal activity for improvement in Medical knowledge. This time period was one all about the love of Art and Education!

well anyways, hope this helps :P

Answers

Aviation pioneers or most of them started out as barnstormers. Everyone has heard of planes. But very little knew what they looked like and what they did. When barnstormers came to towns and cities and it showed people planes. Many people saw the planes and got inspired and wanted to fly. The aviation industry grew because of it.  Soon aviation was used a lot more like the Air Mail Service. When WWII came about it was known as the War of Aviation because a lot of battle were fought in the air. Planes became essential. The Army Air Corps wanted to become separate from the Army and be equal to the Army and the Navy. As an Air Force. Many records were made too. To show aviation's power wealthy people would set rewards for people who could break a record. Like flying across the country in a month, or the flying over the Atlantic and arrive from New York to France. Also flying across the English Channel.

What change after the event the loss of control of the silk and spice trade by the Turks

Answers

Explanation:After the loss of control of the silk and spice trade by the Turks, the trade network shifted to new areas, causing some established centers like Cochin to decline and others like Goa to rise The fall of Constantinople in 1453, which was conquered by the Ottoman Empire, led to the loss of one of the principal land routes for spices into Europe The search for direct access to the highly lucrative Eastern spice trade was one of the major motivating factors in the European Age of Exploration . Explorers like Christopher Columbus and Vasco da Gama were sent to find a maritime route from Europe to Asia From 1500 onwards, first Portugal, and then other European powers, attempted to control the spice trade, the ports which marketed spices, and eventually the territories which grew them Spices had been imported from the East into Europe since antiquity, and Europeans had developed a definite liking for them. Part of the attraction was the flavor they gave dishes, although another attraction was their very rarity, making them a fashionable addition to any table and a real status symbol for the wealthy
