The correct answer should be Act 1. Exposition is the introductory part of the play where we learn about the history of the people in the play, about the setting, the characters and their relations, and general things like that. Exposition is always found at the beginning so naturally the answer should be Act 1.

I need help putting together a thesis statement for, "A Good Man Is Hard To Find" by Flannery O'Connor. So far, the thesis statement I have is this: In the short story, “A Good Man Is Hard To Find”, the author Flannery O’Connor, will show you that no matter how respectful and nice you are to people like the grandmother, when it comes to devious and disrespectful just like the misfit, you always have second chance to make transformation. I need help with transforming it to sound better. I want to build it around Christianity because O'Connor always talked about murder and Christ. Could someone be generous enough to help me please! Thanks!

ADVISE : First off, never start your thesis statement off like " i'm going to tell you" or " In this." you want to grab the reader, and make the reader want to read more. You could start your thesis with a quote from O'Conner or a random quote about your subject. This tends to grab the reader, if they like the quote. You may also start your your thesis with a question that you may think people will have about the short story, or you had  while reading the short story, you MUST answer this question in your writing though. Secondly, try not to make your thesis so long, this may lead the reader to bordome, but also dot make your thesis to short

I am not very good at English.Can you please give me some helpful advice on how to be better at English and expand my vocabulary and knowledge?

Answers

perhaps study some sentence structures; such as clauses, simple sentences, compound sentences.

then you could perhaps use;

adjectives (describing words e.g. extraordinary)

nouns (objects e.g. table)

verbs (action words e.g. jump)

adverbs (describing an action e.g. carefully)

you could also learn argument structures, and persuasive writing.

you could learn about dialogue too.

I suggest reading a really good book, not one of those silly text books, but a fictional novel or something. I used to be pretty bad at english too but I started reading and now I've been top in the class since year 3, I'm now in year 8!
It really helps because your imagination and brain are both fuelled and you can observe how the author/authors have structured and used their sentences and words. Another tip is when you stumble across a word you don't understand look it up in the dictionary and try to remember it, mark the page with the word on it and the next day come back to it, say out the definition to someone who knows from memory, it helps!!!
